Valesca Mayssa Barbosa da Silva, born in Ribeirão Preto (SP), moved to the city of Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro, when she was only 11 months old. From a very young age, Valesca accompanied her mother on trips, often returning home in the early hours of the morning. At the age of 4, she began to sing, inspired by her mother, who was also a singer. She grew up being nurtured by her parents and the Holy Spirit. At the age of 15, she returned with her family to her hometown, Ribeirão Preto (SP), to be closer to relatives living in the area.
On a certain day, Valesca, along with her parents, went to the mountain, where God made a promise through the life of her aunt. At the top of that mountain stood a massive tree, and it was there that God used her aunt to speak to Valesca, saying that He would make her grow like that tree, bearing many fruits. Two years later, God gave her the composition "Árvore Cortada" ("Cut Tree"), which was her first release by Todah Music. Through this song, God has brought significant blessings into Valesca's life, restoring the lives of many people. Her desire will always be to share the Word with every creature, so that they may be edified, and everything that has happened and will happen be for the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus.
