Natali Dizdar was born on August 27, 1984 in Zadar, Croatia where she finished nine grades of "Blagoje Bersa" Music School, playing the piano and eventually specializing in theoretical teaching.
She grew up in Sukošan and had her first public appearance at the age of eight after which she performed at numerous children’s festivals and tv shows where her singing talent was noticed.
Her first important debut in the media was on the Croatian singing reality show "Story Super Nova Music Talents" on Nova TV. She passed the audition successfully and entered the finals. With her interpretation of the songs by Aretha Franklin, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Cindy Lauper and others, she drew attention of the public as a young singer of wide vocal range and original interpretation.
Following the reality show she signed the record contract with the Croatia Records publishing company and began her first professional performances accompanied by the famous Croatian jazz pianist Matija Dedić.
An important confirmation of her singing talent came from the composer Zdenko Runjić who invited her to perform at the festival dedicated to his greatest hits, where she performed the famous “Galeb i ja” among the eminent names and received the standing ovations for the special performance of the song.
Soon she met her agent Gordana Bosak, an executive producer of her future albums and the entire project, who formed teams of authors for the project including the music producer, songwriters, visual identity, video directors and others.
Natali recorded her first single “Ne daj” which was first performed at the beginning of July 2004 at the final evening of the Split Festival. The song, that owns its success to Davor Viduka, Marta Muždalo and Gordan Muratović (music producer, songwriter and a guitarist of the band Jinx), soon became the young singer’s first big hit. The song held the top place of Croatian top 20 chart, created by 26 radio stations, newspapers and television, and was on the chart for 22 weeks. For a few months the song was also on the top of the Croatian Radio chart, and at the show Natali was awarded the best singer of 2004. Her single “Ne daj” was chosen as the song of the year by the alternative music award Zlatna Koogla. Natali was also nominated in three categories by the Croatian National Awards Porin when she won the Best new artist award.
Her second single “Gazio si me” was very high on the music charts and for six weeks was the most listened radio single. Her third single “Svaki put” was recorded right before her debut album.
Her album “Natali Dizdar” came out on May 23, 2005, and was very well accepted by both the public and the critics. The album was introduced by the three hit singles, while the rest of the album included the songs by the composers and songwriters like Arsen Dedić with the ballad “Zamijenit ću te gorim”, the jazz legend Boško Petrović, Petar Beluhan (a member of the band Mayales), Davor Viduka (former Kojoti member) and a whole group of talented musicians and songwriters like Zvonimir Mintas, Saša Ljiljak (former Yammat member) and Marta Muždalo.
Finally, a special addition to the album was the interpretation of the Duke Ellington song “Sophisticated Lady".
The second studio album, “Pronađi put” published by the parent publishing company Agapa, came out in 2009, followed by hit songs such as "Stranac", "Stop", "Ne pitaj" and "Mjesecu je dosadno", which was later rearranged and appeared as a vocal collaboration with the writer of the song Darko Rundek on Natali's first Live album in 2012, recorded at ZKM in Zagreb.
After the ZKM Live album Natali recorded a hit single "Grijeh" that came out in 2013 while her last single came out in 2015, called "Iluzionist" which she wrote the music for and arranged it together with her guitarist player Vladimir Mirčeta.
