Mark Us brings new music inspired by his experiences, good and not-so-good moments, with direct but smart lyrics, creating a great combination where literal and rhetoric meet. Musically inspired by talented artists as Coldplay, Lorde, Maggie Rogers, Of Monsters & Men and others. Mark Us shares music without boundaries, mainly influenced by AltPop, Indie Pop-Rock and some traditional pop making each of his tracks an unique experience surrounded with color, light, darkness, positivism and graceful melancholic tones. Mark Us songs will show an awesome balance in the duality of his memories, situations and feelings on his way to find and create his sound.
Born in Venezuela in 1997, Markus S., grew up listening to his family's favorite music, who have always been good-music lovers. Thanks to his brother, who is a talented musician, he began to learn about how to create art in different forms such as music and design.
In 2016, at age 19, left his country and moved abroad. After settling in Santiago de Chile, he found out a regular job wouldn't give him the happiness he was fighting for, he made a big decision to change his life and started creating music in his room late at night. Self-educated singing and music production and what he had learned from his brother, with a short budget, built his own music studio in his room and created his first track "lights on me", the very first of many, and that's how this project began.
