"Dantos" is a musical project from San Pedro Sula, Honduras formed by Max Urso, musician and producer, also a member of several well-known rock bands (Khaos, Khaoticos among others), and by Rodrigo Cervantes The style of the group could be defined as "Caribbean fusion" mixing styles like Reggae/Ska, Garífuna rhythms and Latin pop/rock.
Why "Dantos"? "Danto" is the name by which the Central American “Tapir” (Baird's tapir or Tapirus bairdii) is known in Honduras and neighboring countries. A Tapir is a large herbivorous mammal, similar in shape to a pig, with a short, prehensile snout, that has been classified as in danger of extinction.
