Shao En Tzeng, better known as his artist name Narcyz, was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. From the first moments of listening to euphoric hardstyle, Shao was in love with these unique sounds. Shao’s dedication to hardstyle quickly grew as only four months after DJing, he decided it was time to learn how to produce these sounds starting in 2016.
After years of hard work, Narcyz finally built up enough traction to be the first Asian hardstyle artist signed to the legendary European label Dutch Master Works in 2019. Just this past year, Shao’s releases impressed the guys at DMW enough to offer him a contract to the larger 2-Dutch artist network.
Today, you can expect to see Narcyz grace the stage regularly as a resident of IKON Taipei in addition to playing at Hardstyle Taiwan shows throughout the year with the biggest names in hardstyle including KELTEK, Sound Rush, and Toneshifterz.
