After having moved the world with his melancholy cover of the Pixies’ hit “Where Is My Mind?” (over 250 million listens), the pianist went on to sign several albums of neo-classical music, of which he is one of the forerunners in France, including his last three albums for Warner Classics between 2020 and 2023, where the piano largely dominates, with occasional strings (he is sensitive to them) and synthesizers (which he used and abused during his youth). He averages a million unique listeners a month on Spotify, placing him in the Top Ten of French streamers worldwide in the solo piano category. As fate would have it, a number of synchro appearances on TV series (Mr Robot, The Leftlovers, Lycée Toulouse-Lautrec) and commercials (Narcisso Rodriguez) accelerated his recognition, which was then confirmed by his tours in France and the United States.
"Passenger" is his 9th album. With influences ranging from Ryuichi Sakamoto and Brian Eno to Philip Glass and composers such as Erik Satie and Frédéric Chopin, this album weaves together ambient, minimalist and neo-classical styles.
