When two singers raised by classical Rythm and Blues music meet an artist who has grown with the sound of RnB, this subtle mix is called : THE SOUL MEN !
Thanks to their outstanding voices and their stupendous stage presence, Vigon and Erick Bamy will have the chance to cross Steevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and even Ike & Tina Turner paths during their careers.
After being Johnny Hallyday essential voice actor, Erick Bamy moved out from the shadow to light by surprising the jurys of the french equivalent of “Britain’s got Talent”. A few months ago, back from a long trip in Morocco, Vigon showed to millions of viewers for his incredible energy as a "soul shouter" during the show "The Voice". Half a century of complicity link these two musicians.
Jay Kani is the youngest of the trio. This son of RnB started with the “Poetic Lovers” boysband which had a great success in the early 90’s.
As it has launched the career of the young man, television also put the two older musicians into the light. The opportunity was too good not to gather these powerful figures of former and current days in a trio band. This is how Vigon Bamy Jay started as a trio. From their experiences as varied as complementary rose the first album "The Soul Men" covering the finest standards of soul music. The trio gives us a genuine "soul revival".
