Lennon Miller would "walk" into Rangers' midfield and a deal for the Motherwell starlet would suit everyone down to the ground.

That's according to Craig Moore, who is on the same page as former Ibrox teammate Barry Ferguson when it comes to the Steelmen star. Miller' s star has been on the rise for some time now and it's surely a case of if rather than when he moves on to bigger things. The only questions now are where to and for how much.

Fir Park chiefs are determined to hold on to the Scotland U21 international for as long as possible, and have warned the circling vultures that he won't be allowed to move on from ML1 on the cheap. They know what they have on their hands and are determined to maximise Miller's value. That could prove troublesome for Gers, who don't have the financial muscle of their city neighbours, let alone English competitors.

But Moore sees a kicker that could work in their favour when it comes to Miller. He wouldn't be the first teen talent to disappear into the English academy system, only to be spat out a few years later and return north to start again. But Moore sees a way for both Miller and Rangers to level up while staying n the spotlight and keeping the English dream alive for further down the line.

“Lennon Miller has had a fantastic season and currently I think he could walk into the Rangers midfield area and continue to play there for his development [which] would be ongoing," Moore told Go Radio.

Interesting time for Lennon Miller in terms of the decisions. There has got to be a lot of interest.

“It’s not just from Celtic and Rangers there are likely to be a lot of other interested clubs. But I think the benefit of playing games has been really crucial for him and he will look to find a similar situation where he is continuing to play matches. Motherwell are going to cash in at some stage whether that is January we will find out soon enough.”
