'I've been with my wife for 22 years. We've been married for 10. We have a daughter,' began Billy to Drew.

He said they were introduced on the set of Bad Santa when he was on a 'kind of a lost weekend, you know what I mean.

'We were together within probably a couple of months maybe yeah, she kind of drug me out of the gutter, which was awesome we've been together longer than if you totaled up all the other five, it's more time.

When Barrymore asked how many times he has been married, he shared his story.

'Well, you wanna hear something that really freaked me out because it's six for me.

'So one time, I don't know how I got there, but you know when you go on the internet to look something up and then it leads you to like a bunch of other stuff and you don't really wanna look at it, but you do anyway. So I'm looking at it one day and they had the people who with the most marriages in Hollywood. And I was the only person who was alive on it.

'I mean, it was like, I mean, it had like Mickey Rooney and Elizabeth Taylor and all these people and like, I mean people from like you know, that started in the 30s.'

Thornton has been married six times and he has four children by three women.

From 1978 to 1980, he was married to Melissa Lee Gatlin. They had a daughter Amanda.

Thornton married actress Toni Lawrence in 1986; they separated the following year and divorced in 1988.

From 1990 to 1992, he was married to actress Cynda Williams.

In 1993, Thornton married Playboy model Pietra Dawn Cherniak, with whom he had two sons. The marriage ended in 1997.

Thornton dated Laura Dern from 1997 to 1999, but in 2000 he married Jolie. They separated in June 2002 and divorced the following year.

In 2003, he met Angland.

Billy and Angelina are still in touch, Bill said in 2019.

'We're good friends. We've been friends for years and years and years,' Thornton said of Angelina at Tribeca TV Festival's presentation of Goliath in NYC.

'We keep up with each other. She's not in town a lot, so we don't see each other much, but we talk,' he dished to Us Weekly at the time.

Angelina and the Sling Blade star married in May 2000. Their oftentimes eccentric relationship ended in June 2002 when they separated. The two divorced in May 2003.

Billy Bob explained in a November 2016 interview with GQ that he 'never felt good enough for her,' saying that her humanitarian efforts did not align with his easygoing lifestyle.

Of the vials of blood the pair wore on chains around their necks, the Fargo alum told The Hollywood Reporter in October 2014, 'It was a crazy time. I've never been fond of it.'

He continued: 'We were apart a lot because she's off making Tomb Raider and I'm making Monster's Ball.

'She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razor blade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck just like you wear your son or daughter's baby hair in one.

'From that, we were wearing quart jars of blood around our necks. And we were vampires and we lived in a dungeon.'

Angelina moved on with Brad Pitt, whom she met and fell in love with on the set of Mr. And Mrs. Smith in 2004.

They married 19 years later in August 2014 and The Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil star filed for divorce in September 2016.

Meanwhile, Billy Bob secretly tied the knot with Connie Angland in October 2014.

He has been promoting Landman.

Last week he attended the LA premiere with his wife.

Thornton looked effortlessly cool while rocking a chic all-black outfit and layered chain necklaces at the Landman event.

The Bad Santa star wore a fedora over a headscarf and slipped on a pair of Western boots.

Landman focuses on the huge oil boom in Texas and how some of the biggest moguls in the trade will go to any means necessary to maintain their vast wealth.

The series is co-created by the man behind the Yellowstone universe Taylor Sheridan, 53, and podcaster Christian Wallace.

Landman, like Yellowstone, is set in the present day and is inspired by the popular podcast Boomtown, which chronicled a 21st century oil boom in western Texas.

The series logline describes it as 'an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.'

Demi is set to play series regular Cami, whose husband Monty (Jon Hamm) is one of the most powerful oil men in Texas and a friend of Tommy Norris who is played by Billy Bob Thornton.

Season one of Landman will premiere on Paramount+ on November 18.

The cast recently returned to the United States after promoting the west Texas drama in the United Kingdom last week.

The promo tour for Landman comes soon after the release of Demi's latest film project, The Substance, which also stars Margaret Qualley, 30.

It had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May, which was lauded by critics immediately, and hit theaters on September 20.
