Game of Thrones spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms add actors Finn Bennett and Bertie Carvel to cast
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a spinoff of the popular Game of Thrones franchise, has announced the casting of five additional actors to the series.
Finn Bennett and Bertie Carvel are among the actors named to the cast of the Game of Thrones spinoff, Variety reported Tuesday, as well as Tanzyn Crawford, Daniel Ings and Sam Spruell.
The series production has began in Belfast, Ireland, according to the publication.
Bennett and Carvel play the respective roles of Targaryen dynasty members Prince Aerion Targaryen and Carvel as Prince Baelor Targaryen, while Spruell plays Prince Maekar Targaryen. Crawford plays Tanselle, a puppeteer, and Ings plays Ser Lyonel Baratheon.
Three of the show's six episodes in season one will be directed by Sarah Adina Smith, the outlet reported, which the show's executive producer Owen Harris will direct three.

The storyline of the forthcoming series is set 'a century before the events of Game of Thrones,' according to a logline from producers.
In that time, 'two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg,'
The Ser Duncan and Egg characters are played respectively by Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, as previously announced.
The show is 'set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.'
The source material has been adapted from the novella penned by Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin, titled The Hedge Knight.
The timeline falls about a century after House of the Dragon - the spinoff which commenced its second season on HBO Sunday - and 100 years prior to the original Game of Thrones.
Bennett, 25, has past been seen on True Detective: Night Country, playing the role of Peter Prior on six episodes. His other credits include TV shows such as Liar, National Treasure: Kiri and Domina.
