WOODSTOCK, N.Y. — The Woodstock Youth Center and Climate Smart Task Force will host its “Leave No Trace” Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26.

A community cleanup will begin at 11 a.m. at the Woodstock Youth Center at 60 Rock City Road. A celebration with refreshments at the Youth Center will follow at 1 p.m.

Events include a Ravensbeard Wildlife Rehabilitation Center featuring live birds of prey, including owls. Citizens Concerned About Plastic Pollution will host a water bottle fill station. Repair Cafe will share information about how the public can help reduce the waste of goods, while Woodstock’s Complete Streets and others will be on hand.

“Come out and help make our community a cleaner, greener place by volunteering to pick up litter and beautify our neighborhood,” an announcement said.

The organizers recommend that those participating in the cleanup wear bright, colorful clothing and comfortable outdoor footwear. Gloves and bags will be provided.
