
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — The Dutchess County Department of Health is set to host the 4th Y.O.U.R. (Young, Old, Urban, Rural) Health Fair on Saturday, April 12, an announcement said.
The fair will begin at 11 a.m. in Falcon Hall at Dutchess Community College, 50 Mascot Drive. Free transportation will be provided from the city, with shuttles running from the Transit Hub on Market Street to the fair on continuous loops from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The fair will feature more than 60 exhibitors, including community health providers, local businesses, non-profits, and county government departments, the announcement said. Exhibitors will be offering health information, hands-on training, and more.
Some more interactive opportunities will include a fitness demonstration from All Sport Health and Fitness, performances by the Roy C. Ketcham High School Step Team, hands-only CPR and Narcan training, and blood pressure screenings.
The fair will also offer games like Plinko, disc golf, and hopscotch, as well as children’s activities like crafts and rock painting. Rascal, team mascot for the Hudson Valley Renegades, will also be on hand.
