MOOSIC — Fans looking for an alternative to a hot dog will have another dining option at PNC Field this spring and summer.
Primo Hoagies plans to open a location at the ballpark along Montage Mountain Road with the home opener for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders set for Tuesday, company officials said.
Rachel and Mike Davis — who operate five other stores throughout the state — will run the new location at the ballpark, according to a news release from Primo.
The PNC Field location plays into the brand’s broader growth strategy, which includes opening nontraditional franchise locations in stadiums, arenas, airports and convenience stores, officials said.
