Josh Rocha had 34 kills, two blocks and two assists to lead Holy Redeemer over Dallas, 25-17, 25-19, 25-19, in a Wyoming Valley Conference boys volleyball match Thursday.

Jack Wasiakowski had 37 assists, five kills and 14 service points, while Austin Rood had 10 service points. Brandon DelBalso added four kills.

Crestwood 3, Wyoming Valley West 0: At Valley West, JJ Stec had 15 kills to pace Crestwood over Valley West, 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.

Stec added 14 points and six digs, while teammate Zack Koons had 26 assists, 22 points and six aces. Luke Joseph ended with 15 digs, and Eric Rinehimer contributed nine kills.

Baseball

Lake-Lehman 10, Nanticoke Area 0: At Lake-Lehman, Chris Sholtis allowed one hit over three innings, and Will Jenkins had three hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs to lead Lake-Lehman.

Connor Smigielski had two hits, including a double, and drove in three. Scott Egbert went 2 for 2, with an RBI and run scored.

Treyton Mishanki had two hits for Nanticoke Area. Derek Miller and Said Martinez each had one hit.

Honesdale 6, Wilkes-Barre Area 1: At Wilkes-Barre Area, Jared Ahern tossed a complete-game four-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead Honesdale over Wilkes-Barre Area in a nonleague game.

Connor Tirney had a single and scored two runs for Honesdale. Ethan Corso had a single and RBI. Ahern helped his cause with a base hit and RBI.

Alex Hufford had two hits for Wilkes-Barre Area. Jake Howe and Omar Jerez each had a single.

Pittston Area 11, Old Forge 3: At Pittston Area Primary Center, Jake Aftewicz had three hits, including two doubles, as Pittston Area defeated Old Forge in a nonleague game.

TJ Johnson pitched the first four innings to get the win. Chase Montigney tripled and drove in two. Richard Tonte had two hits, including a double, and drove in three.

Frank Pero had two hits and an RBI for Old Forge. TJ DiMattia had a double and a run.

Crestwood 7, Wyoming Seminary 6 (8 innings): At Crestwood, Chase Galella’s double to left in the bottom of the eighth inning scored Caleb McManus with the game-winning run to lead Crestwood.

Jacob Feisel pitched four innings of scoreless relief to get the win.

Colin Donovan had four hits, including a double, for Wyoming Seminary. Antek Evan had two hits and three RBIs.

North Pocono 5, Berwick 0: Nick Reese struck out 12 batters and only allowed one hit, earning a shutout win for North Pocono against Berwick on the road.

Dylan Hunter paced the Trojans offense with two hits, while Luke Sult had Berwick’s lone hit. Cole Phillips started on the mound for Berwick, striking out four batters over six innings.

Holy Redeemer 12, Western Wayne 2: At Gibby Field, Holy Redeemer had seven doubles in a nonleague win over Western Wayne.

Western Wayne scored its runs in the top of the first. Holy Redeemer answered with one in the bottom of the first, before scoring five times in the fifth and six runs in the sixth.

Sam Shovlin drove in two runs, while Drew Cisney scored twice and drove in one. Cody Quaglia pitched five innings, striking out nine en route to the win.

Damion Glackin had two hits and scored one run for Western Wayne. Ethan Lamberton had a double and two RBIs. Jamie Chapman had two hits, including a double.

Montrose 32, Tunkhannock 14: At Tunkhannock, Montrose had 18 hits, 11 of them for extra bases, in a win over Tunkhannock.

Hudson Aukema had four hits, including a double and home run, and drove in eight runs. CJ McGee had a double and five RBIs. Adam Sorenson had four hits, four RBIs and five runs.

Tunkhannock finished with 14 hits, six of them for extra bases. Ethan Dominick homered and drove in four, as part of a two-hit day. Brandon Kozlansy tripled and had three runs and three RBIs. Matthew Kaleta finished with three RBIs.

Valley West 4, Selinsgrove 3 (9 inn): At Selinsgrove, Jake Dubaskas was hit-by-a-pitch with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the ninth inning, bringing home the winning run for a nonleague victory.

Tyler Ruddy had a single and RBI for Valley West. The Spartans held a 3-2 lead going to the bottom of the seventh, before Selinsgrove tied the game to force extra innings.

Jesse Klem pitched five innings of relief to get the win.

Softball

Tunkhannock 6, Chardon High School (Ohio) 5: At Myrtle Beach SC, Addisyn Waterman had two hits, including a double and one RBI, as Tunkhannock picked up a win in South Carolina.

Waterman and Lucy Karp scored two runs. McKenzie Hannon had a single and picked up the win in the circle. She scattered 11 hits and struck out five in going the distance.

North Pocono 8, Dallas 2: Amelia Bell pitched a complete game, striking out 11 batters and leading North Pocono past Dallas in Moscow.

Adysen Iyoob hit a home run for the Trojans, while Bell and Alyssa Lynch each had two hits. Alyssa Traver paced Dallas with two hits, including a double.

Dallas starter Nina Barrouk went five innings, striking out eight batters in the loss.

Boys tennis

Hazleton Area 5, Pittston Area 0: At Hazleton, Mateus Feola and Ethan Kintzel each won their singles matches, and the doubles team of Herman Aries and Luke Palmieri won in doubles, to help Hazleton Area sweep Pittston Area.

Pittston Area lost one singles match and one doubles match due to forfeit.

Singles: Feola (HA) over Jones, 4-6, 6-1, 10-7. Kintzel (HA) over Toybuliak, 6-0, 6-0; Doubles: Aries-Palmieri (HA) over Stilitino-Tiru, 6-1, 6-0.

Crestwood 5, Valley West 0: At Crestwood, Tommy Biscotti and Sean Rossi each won their singles matches, and Crestwood swept both doubles matches in a win over Valley West.

Crestwood earned a forfeit win at No. 3 singles.

Singles: Biscotti (C) over Reisinger, 7-5, 5-7, 6-2. Rossi (C) over Klem, 6-1, 6-0. Young (C) won by forfeit; Doubles: Kogoy-Savner (C) over Wairiuko-Zera (WVW), 6-1, 6-0. Zabroski-Modrovsky (C) over Taylor-Youells, 6-0, 6-0.

Wyoming Seminary 4, MMI Prep 1: In Freeland, Billy Hall and Yicheny Li each won singles matches, and Wyoming Seminary swept both doubles matches in a win over MMI Prep.

Max Bleiler won at No. 2 singles for MMI Prep.

Girls lacrosse

Abington Heights 14, Wyoming Area 3: In Clarks Summit, Allie Rothenberger scored five goals and Kiera Crowell added four, as Abington Heights defeated Wyoming Area, 14-3, at home.

Addison Byers scored two goals for Wyoming Area, while Lyla Rehill had one.

North Pocono 15, Wilkes-Barre Area 8: At North Pocono, Amaya Monacelli had six goals and one assist, Sara O’Donnell had three goals and North Pocono defeated Wilkes-Barre Area at home.

Elizabeth Pachucki paced Wilkes-Barre Area with three goals.

Wyoming Seminary 12, Lake-Lehman 5: At Seminary, Ellie Kersey scored five goals and Kylie Romanchick had three to lead Wyoming Seminary over Lake-Lehman.

Sarah Williams added two goals for the Blue Knights. Ryleigh McDonnell had two assists.

Olivia Oliver led Lake-Lehman with three goals.

Delaware Valley 12, Dallas 3: In Matamoras, Delaware Valley senior Ava Kraszewski scored seven goals to lead the Warriors past Dallas, 12-3, at home.

With her first goal, Kraszewski became Delaware Valley’s all-time program points leader with 247 career points. Kraszewski’s sixth goal helped her surpass the program record for career goals, now boasting 213.

Carrigan McCormack added a hat trick for the Warriors, while Ella English scored two goals to lead Dallas.

Boys lacrosse

Wilkes-Barre Area 6, North Pocono 5 (OT): At The Den, Joe Egidio and Brody Ren each scored hat tricks, as Wilkes-Barre Area eked out an overtime victory against North Pocono.

Conner Losito added two goals for the Wolfpack, while Patrick Dough paced North Pocono with two goals.

Lake-Lehman 11, Tunkhannock 2: At Lake-Lehman on Wednesday, Logan Law scored four goals, while Hunter Palka had two goals and four assists in Lake-Lehman’s win over Tunkhannock.

Matt Finarelli scored two goals for the Black Knights, while Jeremy Janosov, Chris Yetter and Hayden Evans each added a goal. Dominik Brown recorded nine saves in goal.

Colby Dancheck and Elijah Faux each scored for Tunkhannock. Brian French had nine saves.

Boys track and field

Wyoming Area 135, Nantcioke Area 5: At Nanticoke Area, Wyoming Area finished first in every race, as four athletes had multiple wins in the team victory over the Trojans.

Lidge Kellum swept the hurdles, winning the 110 in 17.4 and the 300 in 44.7. Luke Kopetchney was first in the triple jump (41-7) and long jump (19-6 ½), Ben Gravine was first in the discus (134-11) and javelin (165-0), while Chris Walsh topped the 1,600 (5:13) and 3,200 (11:25).

Girls track and field

Wyoming Area 104, Nanticoke Area 45: At Nanticoke, Wyoming Area had two athletes win multiple events, as the Warriors earned a WVC victory.

Kierstyn Orlandini was first in the 1,600 (6:15) and 3,200 (14:00), and Taylor Gashi topped the discus (94-8) and long jump (16-8).

Nanticoke Area’s Nevaeh Baran won three events: triple jump (36-7), 400 (61.8) and 200 (28.3).
