Airwave YGK Musician-in-Residence: Sadie Williams, April 20th 1 PM

CFRC 101.9 FM is pleased to present a live performance by our next Airwave YGK Musician-in-Residence, Sadie Williams!

Join us April 20th at 1 PM for a great interview and wonderful music that Sadie has composed and rehearsed in our studios during her early spring residency at CFRC.

Williams, a solo singer/songwriter performs indie/folk/country covers on acoustic guitar and writes original songs that take inspiration from these genres. You may have caught her at her gigs at The Tea Room, as an opener at downtown venues, and busking around Springer Market Square last summer.

During her residency, Williams used our studios to compose, develop and rehearse five new songs intended for her upcoming EP while drawing on her extensive musical talents including guitar, saxophone, piano, and her Level 6 RCM classically trained voice. Williams released her debut 5-song EP Gone in 2022.  We're thrilled she's in our studios working on her second!

In addition to wonderful music she'll perform live on April 20th,  you'll get a chance to learn more about this wonderful artist and what's in store for her this spring and summer. Join us right here on CFRC.ca, tune in on local FM radio at CFRC 101.9 FM and find us on many mobile apps like iheartradio!

Airwave YGK Musician Residencies at CFRC are made possible through the generous support of the City of Kingston and Kingston Arts Council.
