In August 2019 CEPS received the HR Excellence in Research award (HRS4R).
HRS4R culminates in the recognition of human resources excellence in research by the European Commission for institutions that have made progress in adapting their human resources policies to the forty principles set out in the European Charter and Code.
In so doing, CEPS has made a long-term commitment to providing a professional, fair and convivial working environment and to supporting its researchers in their career development based on an in-depth gap analysis and 5-year action plan. The four key areas covered by the plan are Ethics and Integrity, Working Conditions, Learning and Development, and Recruitment and Selection. With regard to the latter, CEPS has also firmly committed to implementing the principles of Open,Transparent,Merit-based Recruitment, an important and integral element of HRS4R.
