Nisswa Women’s Club makes donation

BRAINERD — At the Nisswa Women’s Club’s March meeting, they collected $1,050 which was donated to the Lakes Area Food Shelf.

In addition, they collected non-perishable food items. This is an ongoing twice a year event for the club that is in its 105th year.

Nisswa Women’s Club to meet April 17

BRAINERD — The Nisswa Women’s Club will meet Wednesday, April 19, at The Legacy.

Gathering time is 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon and is $35.

Inspirational will be by Joannie Muehlbauer. Hostesses will be Linda Buchholz, Pat Heinen, Pat Moore Johnson and Marilyn Sobiech.

The program is Minnesota author Jan Payne. She will give some insight on her book “Rabbit Moon.”

BRAINERD — The Brainerd Sagatun Lodge of the Sons of Norway will have its 27th annual Frokost Scandinavian breakfast/brunch at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. April 26, at Trinity Lutheran Fellowship Hall.

Senior dance set

DEERWOOD — A senior dance will be 1-4 p.m. Friday, April 18, at the Deerwood Legion with music by Frank and Fran.
