Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar announced he will be headlining the halftime show at SUPER BOWL LIX in New Orleans. In a statement shared with Entertainment Weekly, the rapper expressed that “rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.” Of course, this isn’t Lamar’s first time on the SUPER BOWL stage. In 2022, he joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and 50 Cent during their halftime show in a west coast hip-hop showcase. The SUPER BOWL LIX takes place on Feb. 9, 2025, airing live on TSN and CTV.

The Cooper family story continues, as Entertainment Weekly revealed first-look images from GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE that set the scene for the new YOUNG SHELDON spinoff. Along with the exciting images, executive producer Steve Holland expressed excitement over digging into a different part of THE BIG BANG THEORY television universe, “I don’t have to keep Googling science facts anymore or trying to pretend that I know what I’m talking about. This is a much more, I think, relatable family show. These are different characters. It’s the same world, but the slice of this world they inhabit has a different flavour to it.” GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE joins CTV’s fall 2024 lineup on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, beginning Oct. 17.

It all comes down to this, as the milestone 10th season of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA reaches its dramatic conclusion tonight at a special time, 8 p.m. ET on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. From a field that began with 11 hopeful teams in Niagara Falls, Ont., back in early July, only four resilient teams remain as the action shifts to Edmonton for the final leg.
