The CBBC Channel will now be on for two hours longer each day.

Starting on Monday evening, programmes will shown on TV until 9pm.

CBBC's Cheryl Taylor said: "We'll be showing programmes that your mum and dad might enjoy as much as you do - shows like Danger Mouse, Horrible Histories, Operation Ouch and Copy Cats."

"Plus our really popular dramas like The Dumping Ground and The Next Step," she added.

Myles from Whoops I Missed the Bus will be the new evening presenter.

The longer hours are part of some new changes to CBBC, including the new logo.
