Baltimore weather: Warm temperatures throughout weekend before rain moves into area

Spring has sprung with warmer temperatures throughout the weekend.

There is a slight chance of showers Sunday after 8 p.m. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. The chance of precipitation is 20%. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low around 64.

The beginning of the work week could be wet, with an 80% chance of precipitation on Monday. Otherwise, it will be mostly warm, with a high near 78 when the Orioles play their home opener against the Red Sox at 3:05 p.m. More showers, and possibly a thunderstorm, are predicted for the evening, mainly before 8 p.m., with a low around 44.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and cooler with a high of 57 and a low around 36.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 60 before more showers move into the area in the evening with a low of 60.

More rain is expected for both Thursday and Friday with temperatures reaching the 70s on both days.
