Fees to dump trash at Carroll County’s Northern Landfill to increase starting Jan. 1

Tipping fees are charged to trash companies that haul garbage to the landfill. They are also charged to residents who dump their own trash. In Carroll County, haulers are independent private businesses contracted by residents and are not managed by the county.
