Man shot in neck across from Brooklyn’s Prospect Park: cops

Detectives in Brooklyn are looking for the suspect who shot a man in the neck near Prospect Park on Tuesday night.

Law enforcement sources said the shooting happened at about 10:58 p.m. on March 18 at 154 Parkside Ave.

Officers from the 70th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim, a 35-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to his neck.

Police sources said Wednesday that the circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time.

EMS rushed the wounded man to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Police did not provide a description of the shooter.
