Lisa Washington has joined Tegna’s Charlotte, N.C. NBC affiliate WCNC as a morning anchor.
This is a move from within Tegna for Washington, who comes from WNEP in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she had worked for four years.
Washington spent 12 years in Pennsylvania, working as an evening news anchor at WNEP and at KDKA in Pittsburgh. She has also worked at television stations in San Francisco, Memphis and Huntsville, Alabama.
