The increase in pipeline manufacturing for process industries calls automation of welding system (AWS) in tune with today's demand for accuracy in welding, increased productivity with lesser resources and enhanced profit. Manual welding results in more manpower requirement, low productivity, and low weld quality etc. Automatic welding removes all above problems thus making system itself superior to manual welding system. In this paper, automatic welding system is designed and developed for welding of 'V' Groove in Pipes. AWS based on Embedded / Microcontroller with mechanized output control system is developed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) technique. Moreover, system is simple and economical.

On June 17, 2015, Dylann Roof opened fire at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. In sum, he massacred nine people, including the pastor and state senator Clementa C. Pickney. Several days later at Roof’s first court appearance, relatives of the slain victims had the opportunity to confront the gunman. As many news stories noted, the relatives of the victims offered Roof their forgiveness even while articulating the pain and suffering of their loss. At the hearing, Nadine Collier spoke the powerful words “I forgive you,” to Dylan Roof (Izadi 2015). Collier’s testimony hinted at a theological imperative that is fundamental to Christianity, namely the notion of forgiveness. Forgiveness from the perspective of African American Christianity is composed of both reconciliation and justice. The aim of this chapter is to blend the pragmatic principles of Charles Sanders Peirce and W.E.B. Du Bois to understand the meaning of forgiveness centered on the perspective of Christianity from African Americans.

This report is a summary of all work experience I have been able to gather during my SIWES training programme at Roystech IT Solutions.

The report contains my all my experience in front-end development in relation to HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.

It also contains an overview of my one month teaching experience at Platform Schools.

In conclusion is a summary of what I learnt in my six months SIWES programme.

The goal was to create a website for Galway Art Festival which is  a hypothetical client .This was done in order to get better understanding of the skills that are needed in the area of website design and development. There were many things that were taken in order to submit a successful project such as Market Research, identifying audiences.

The world has taken a step forward and now everything we see or experience had been digitalized. Not long ago let's say 10 years back the year 2006, the internet market was vast but there were few things that we had to go and buy but today everything we want can be seen or bought with just a click of a button, you only need to move a muscle to get what you want. This is where the world has shifted to and if you haven't well now is the time to move forward. Now when we want to purchase a product we want it to be perfect and a website is something that we need to be perfect in order to attract users. So here I'm going to share a few tips for you to remember before hiring one to get the best of the best of their services.

Graphical user interfaces design in software development process focuses on maximizing usability and the user's experience, in order to make the interaction for users easy, flexible and efficient. In this paper, we propose an approach for evaluating the usability satisfaction degree of a web-based system. The proposed method has been accomplished in two phases and implemented on an airlines website as a case study. In the first phase, a website usability test is implemented by a number of users, and then the results obtained are translated into charts for a final web-based system evaluation in the second phase. The results achieved were satisfactory, since the places where the weaknesses and gaps in the website are identified and recommended solutions to avoid them are drawn. The authenticity of the results have been confirmed by comparing them with user opinions acquired from a questionnaire, which proves the precision in which the website is rated.

This paper demonstrate some important steps of usability and security methods which are used by most banks to strengthen the security process.

One of the most important steps in Web site quality evaluation projects is the choice of which aspects of the site to consider. The aspects constitute the model of the site itself and should be identified and evaluated based on the objectives of all stakeholders. In some cases it is possible to adopt standard “syntactic” models. Where this is not possible it is necessary to “personalize” the evaluation model so that it takes into account the semantics of the site or sites under assessment. This adaptation takes time and resources. In this paper we put forth a modular approach that supports the definition of detailed semantic models for the evaluation of Web sites of tourist destinations, starting from a common meta-model. The methodology — referred to as “quality model factory” — is based on the identification of unique elements of diverse types of tourist destinations.

The article describes requirements to educational programming languages and considers the use of Python as the first programming language. The issues of introduction of this programming language into teaching and replacing Pascal by Python are examined. The advantages of such approach are regarded. The comparison of popular programming languages is represented from the point of view of their convenience of use for teaching algorithmization and programming.

Despite the existence of a plethora of annotating software for digital documents, many users still prefer reading and annotating them physically on paper. While others have proposed the idea of merging these two worlds, none of them fits all the design requirements identified in this paper (working in real-time, use readily available hardware, augment physical annotations with digital content, support annotation sharing and collaborative learning). In this paper we present the implemented prototype and a focus group study aimed at understanding studying habits and how the system would fit in these. The focus group revealed that paper material is often discarded or archived and annotations lost, web resources are not saved and fade with time, and that the prototype proposed fits in their studying habits and does not introduce any privacy concerns — be it ones related to the prototype's camera (used in public setting) or ones related to annotations sharing.

Hybrid organizations in modern health movements adopt multiple organizational logistics, allowing them to more effectively achieve social change.  We conducted an analysis of 152 pro-breastfeeding organization websites categorized as institutionalized organizations, grassroots organizations, or hybrid organizations. Through a series of ANOVA analyses, we found that hybrid’s websites provide significantly more useful healthcare information, better maintained dialogue with members, more efficiently mobilized members, commoditized healthcare issues less, and created member identity while maintaining institutional ties.  Ultimately, hybrids tended to incorporate the positive elements from both grassroots and institutional organizations, while rejecting many of the negative elements.

Machine Reading Comprehension (MRC), particularly extractive close-domain question-answering, is a
prominent field in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Given a question and a passage or set of passages,
a machine must be able to extract the appropriate answer from the passage(s). However, the majority of
these existing questions have only one answer, and more substantial testing on questions with multiple
answers, or multi-span questions, has not yet been applied. Thus, we introduce a newly compiled dataset
consisting of questions with multiple answers that originate from previously existing datasets. In addition,
we run BERT-based models pre-trained for question-answering on our constructed dataset to evaluate
their reading comprehension abilities. Runtime of base models on the entire dataset is approximately one
day while the runtime for all models on a third of the dataset is a little over two days. Among the three of
BERT-based models we ran, RoBERTa exhibits the highest consistent performance, regardless of size. We
find that all our models perform similarly on this new, multi-span dataset compared to the single-span
source datasets. While the models tested on the source datasets were slightly fine-tuned in order to return
multiple answers, performance is similar enough to judge that task formulation does not drastically affect
question-answering abilities. Our evaluations indicate that these models are indeed capable of adjusting to
answer questions that require multiple answers. We hope that our findings will assist future development in
question-answering and improve existing question-answering products and methods.

The focus on Privatization of Corporate enterprises is relatively recent in Nigeria.  The prominence in economic programs of most developing countries since the 1980’s is due to the need to reduce Public sector deficits and financial losses arising from gross inefficiencies of the public Enterprises.  Privatization attracts substantial amount of foreign investment inflows and new technological growth bringing about economic growth and reformation.
          The effective implementation of privatization program of a Corporate Enterprise such as Nitel LTD requires a computer-based system.
          This research work is aimed at designing and implementing an automated system that would eliminate some of the problem and draw backs associated with the manual procedures for the privatization of a corporate enterprise.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The expanding role of the Web as a content and applications deployment platform and the appearance of new computing paradigms, such as thin-client computing, require now more than ever the introduction of concrete development frameworks. Although new approaches, technologies, tools, commercial applications appear daily, limited guidelines or frameworks exist that can assist Web developers in selecting the proper methodology and tools for the design, implementation and maintenance of flexible Web content and applications. Our work, triggered from our experience in implementing the Web presence of several large Greek Governmental organisations, attempts to address the major current and forthcoming problems that Web developers face. We propose a framework (RDF/XML based) that will act as a malleable development support environment, incorporating specific guidelines, which Web developers should always consider. The primary goals are achieving scalability (modular, component-based architecture), re-usability and technology independency in Web development. We focus on hypermedia content and applications.
