In former Czechoslovakia, State Security (Czech: Státní bezpečnost, Slovak: Štátna bezpečnosť) or StB / ŠtB, was a plainclothes secret (political) police force from 1945 to its dissolution in 1990. Serving as an intelligence and counter-intelligence agency, it dealt with any activity that could possibly be considered anti-communist.
From its establishment on June 30, 1945, onward, the StB was bound to and controlled by the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. The communists used the StB as an instrument of power and repression: the StB spied on and intimidated political opponents of the Party and forged false criminal evidence against them, facilitating the Communists rise to power in 1948. Even then, before Czechoslovakia became a communist state, the StB forced confessions by means of torture, including the use of drugs, blackmail and kidnapping. After the coup d'état of 1948, these practices developed under the tutelage of Soviet advisors. Other common practices included telephone tapping, permanent watching of apartments, reading mail, house searches, surveillance, arrests and indictment for so-called "subversion of the republic".
STB is an acronym that can mean:

Season Ticket Basketball 2003 is a basketball management simulation video game developed by Out of the Park and published by Infogrames.
Contrary to many sports video games, where the player controls athletes who compete in the sport, Season Ticket Basketball 2003 puts the player in the role of the franchise owner. The sport itself is not played, but rather, aspects of the business side of the sport are decided upon. The game allowed the player to run as many franchises as desired for an indefinite number of seasons as well as the importing of images into the game as team logos. Also, the game allowed multiple saved leagues at once and its season process included an all-star game, a draft, and a playoff for the league championship. Along with the various customization options provided to the player, there is an exhibition game mode where the player can go against the computer or simulate a game without actually witnessing the game unfold on-screen.
The Type 74 (74式戦車, nana-yon-shiki-sensha) is a main battle tank (MBT) of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF). It was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as a replacement for the earlier Type 61. It was based on the best features of a number of contemporary designs, placing it in the same class as the US M60 or German Leopard 1. Like these designs, it mounts the Royal Ordnance L7 105 mm gun. The design did not enter widespread use until 1980, by which point other Western forces had introduced more capable designs.
The JGSDF started studies on a new tank design with Mitsubishi in 1962, as the Type 61 was shown to be incapable of defeating the latest Soviet designs such as the T-62. Features from several designs were incorporated, including the controllable suspension of the US-German MBT-70 project, the hull of the Leopard 1, and the L7 105mm gun. The design included a rotating cupola for the commander, and a new autoloader for the main gun. Prior to the 1965 decision to design an entirely new tank, some technologies which would later be used in the STB-1 were already in development independently in Japan. The design was finalized in 1964 and various test rigs were built between 1964 and 1967.
The k.k. Östliche Staatsbahn (ÖStB, English: Imperial and Royal Eastern National Railway) was a national railway company in the Cisleithania part of Habsburg Austria. It was founded in 1850 on the base of the Cracow and Upper Silesia Railway (German: Krakau-Oberschlesische Bahn; Polish: Kolej Krakowsko-Górnośląska, opened in 1847) for the purpose to build up a railway network in the crown land of Galicia and Ladomiria. In 1858 the company was resolved, and its network was divided among companies in private property. All its lines west of Cracow were left to the Northern Railway, while all its lines east of Cracow were left to the new founded Galician Railway (Ger.: Galizische Carl-Ludwig-Bahn, CLB, Pol.: Kolej galicyjska im. Karola Ludwika).

Ronnie's arrived with his Radio
He carries it everywhere he goes,
And talk about knowing your airwaves
...Ronnie'll name a few
Nicholas came with his cockatoo... too,
Which is really a pigeon but his heart would stop tickin'
if he ever knew.
'Cos everybody needs somebody (sometime)
I'm still needing you
CHORUS
I've been spun and spin-dried
but still the tears fall from my eyes.
I've been spun but I'm cry-dyed
do me a favour and wring me.
I've been spun and spin-dried
but still the tears fall from my eyes.
I've been spun but I'm cry-dyed
do me a favour and wring me... sometime
Little Linda's got a way with men
And so far she's got away with about nine or ten
'Cos everybody needs somebody (sometime)
I'm still needing you
CHORUS
I've been spun and spin-dried
but still the tears fall from my eyes.
I've been spun but I'm cry-dyed
do me a favour and wring me.
I've been spun and spin-dried
but still the tears fall from my eyes.
I've been spun but I'm cry-dyed
