¡Allá tú!
¡Allá tú! (Spanish for "It's Your Business") is the Spanish version of Deal or No Deal. It was initially broadcast by Telecinco between 2004 and 2008 and later changed to sister channel Cuatro for a comeback in 2011.
The top prize is €300,000. It had been €600,000 for a while due to a new text game where the money the contestant wins is split evenly between the contestant and the text winner (so if the contestant wins €600,000, he or she will win €300,000 and the text player will also receive €300,000). In 2006, there was a special called La Noche de los 2.000.000€ (The night of the 2 million euro), but the top prize was €1,000,000 and the game was played twice on that night, the set was different as well (similar to the US version).
It's hosted by Jesús Vázquez, but during Jesús's break to focus on another Endemol show, Operación Triunfo, Silvia Jato and later Arturo Valls filled in for him. This version of the show is very similar to the Italian version, Affari Tuoi. As in the UK, contestants open 22 boxes rather than 26 briefcases (except for the million euro special, which had 26 briefcases).
Al-lāt
Allāt or al-Lāt (Arabic: اللات pronounced [ælˈlæːt]) was a pre-Islamic Arabian goddess who was one of the three chief goddesses of Mecca along with Manāt and al-‘Uzzá.
The shrine and temple dedicated to al-Lat in Taif was demolished on the orders of Muhammad, during the Expedition of Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, in the same year as the Battle of Tabuk (which occurred in October 630 AD). The destruction of the idol was a demand by Muhammad before he would allow any reconciliation to take place with the tribes of Taif, who were under his siege. Whether al-Lat means "the Goddess" is highly disputed. Goddess in Arabic is ilāhah (إلاهة, meaning "goddess"), and with the article the goddess in Arabic would be al-ʾilāhah.
Descriptions
Especially in older sources, Allat is an alternative name of the Mesopotamian goddess of the underworld, now usually known as Ereshkigal. She was reportedly also venerated in Carthage under the name Allatu.
The Nabataeans of Petra and the people of Hatra also worshipped her, equating her with the Greek Athena and Tyche and the Roman Minerva. She is frequently called "the Great Goddess" in Greek in multi-lingual inscriptions. According to Wellhausen, the Nabataeans believed al-Lāt was the mother of Hubal (and hence the mother-in-law of Manāt).
Allá Tú
Alla Tu is a version of Endemol's Deal or No Deal game show. It was broadcast in Chile from Monday to Friday at 19:00 (7:00 PM) on Chilevisión during 2007. Julián Elfenbein was the host. In this version, the 20 contestants each held a box containing prizes between 1 and 10,000,000 Chilean pesos (about US$19,700) in value.
