Zhang Yishan
Zhang Yishan (born 5 May 1992) is a Chinese child star and actor.
Zhang is noted for his roles as Liu Xing and himself in the film and television series Home with Kids and Looking for Jackie respectively.
Life
Early life
Zhang was born and raised in Dongcheng District, Beijing. When he was 5, his father sent him to Shichahai Martial Arts School to study Kung Fu.
Zhang entered Beijing Film Academy in 2011, majoring in acting.
Acting career
Zhang began his career by appearing in small role in Little Soldier Zhang Ga at the age of 9.
In 2004, Zhang starred in the sitcom television series Home with Kids, opposite Song Dandan, Gao Yalin, and Yang Zi. The series was one of the most watched ones in mainland China in that year and Zhang earned critical acclaim.
In 2008, Zhang won the Best New Actor Award at the Huading Awards.
Zhang made his film debut in Looking for Jackie (2009), playing himself.
In 2010, Zhang had a supporting role in Bruce Lee, My Brother, a Hong Kong biographical martial arts drama film starring Aarif Rahman, Tony Leung Ka-fai and Christy Chung.
