History [link]

Zhalantun was formerly known as Buteha (布特哈: Pinyin Bùtèhā), and the city was made into an administrative centre in the Kangxi era. In 1929, Buteha was renamed as Yalu county (雅鲁县; Pinyin: Yǎlǔ Xiàn) because the Yalu river runs through it, but in 1933 it became the Zalantun banner (扎兰屯旗; Pinyin: Zhālántún Qí). In 1983, Zalantun ceased to be a banner and became a part of Hulunbuir prefecture.

Empires

by: Juliana Down

In my heart and through my veins
The tiny blueprint remains
Chemicals and history
Brought together you and me
For the rapture and the pain
Destiny, make us the same
Now the start, now you'll see
You're the only one for me
We're all incomplete Halflings
Searching out our perfection
Just enough to fall undone
Come together now we are one
Could it be that love knows?
Could it be Empires?
Are rising, rising
Deep down inside of me
Could it be that Love sees?
The only reason I breathe
Empires
Are rising deep inside of me
Just the beat of my heart
Just a second apart
Just a chance to declare
I will always be there
We're all incomplete Halflings
Two by two we're checking in
Just enough to fall undone
Come together now we are one
Could it be that love knows?
Could it be Empires?
Are rising, rising
Deep down inside of me
Could it be that Love sees?
The only reason I breathe
Empires
Are rising inside of us
Could it be that love knows?
Could it be Empires?
Are rising, rising
Deep down inside of me
Could it be that Love sees?
The only reason I breathe
Empires Are rising
Inside of us
Inside of us
Empires
For the rapture and the pain
Destiny, make us the same
Now the start, now you'll see
You're the only one for me
Could it be that love knows?
Could it be Empires?
Are rising, rising
Deep down inside of me
Could it be that Love sees?
The only reason I breathe
Empires are rising , they're rising
Empires are rising they're rising
Empires are rising, they're rising
Empires are rising, they're rising
