Yossef (also transliterated as Yosef, Josef, Tiberian Hebrew and Aramaic Yôsēp̄) is a male Hebrew name יוֹסֵף , from Hebrew יהוה להוסיף YHWH Lhosif meaning "YHWH will increase/add". It is the Hebrew equivalent of the English name Joseph, and the Arabic name Yusuf.
