Yanqing District
Yanqing District (simplified Chinese: 延庆区; traditional Chinese: 延慶區; pinyin: Yánqìng Qū) is a subdivision of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. The county consists of 11 towns and 4 rural townships.

Overview
The Jingbao Railway, Dazhen Railway, and China National Highway 110 pass through the district.
The district has an area of 1,992 km2 (769 sq mi) and a population of 275,433 (2000 Census). The district contains many ancient tombs and caves, as well as the popular Badaling section of the Great Wall.
