Dvar

Dvar is a virtual band from Moscow, Russia that plays darkwave music, though their more recent releases have been coined as Lightwave, for a lack of an existing genre to file their unique sound under.

History

The members of Dvar have kept their identities secret, so little is known of their formation. In an interview they stated that "Dvar is something that came in a dream". Band members claim to have heard music in their dreams. The music was presented to them by a creature named Dvar, which took the shape of a giant bee. All of the band's music is devoted to Dvar and directly inspired by him. The members of the band do not claim to write the music themselves (which comes from Dvar), but to serve as messengers. Lyrics, according to them, are performed in the Enochian language.

Dahé

Dahé is an arrondissement in the Mono department of Benin. It is an administrative division under the jurisdiction of the commune of Houéyogbé. According to the population census conducted by the Institut National de la Statistique Benin on February 15, 2002, the arrondissement had a total population of 14,622.

Dah (band)

Dah (Serbian Cyrillic: Дах, trans. Breath) was a former Yugoslav/Belgian progressive rock band. Originally formed in Yugoslavia in 1972, the band, in 1975, moved to Belgium and changed the name to Land. After spending a year in Belgium and releasing an English language album, the band went back to Yugoslavia, where they changed their name back to Dah, disbanding in 1976.

History

Dah was formed in 1972 by Zlatko Manojlović (a former Džentlmeni and Fleš member, guitar) and Branislav Marušić "Čutura" (a former Iskre, Albatrosi and Džentlmeni member, guitar, vocals). The first lineup also featured Branko Gluščević (a former Iskre, Siluete and Lutalice member, bass guitar) and Radomir Dubičanin (a former Fleš member, drums). In April 1973 the band performed at BOOM Festival in Ljubljana and their song "Ako poželiš" was released on the double live album BOOM Pop Fest '73. Soon after the band released their debut 7" single with songs "Ako poželiš" and "Noćna buka", which they promoted performing in the display window of a record shop.
