Kabi people

Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi are an Aboriginal language group of South East Queensland, Australia. It is best to say both names when talking about this country, people and language. Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi people are one of several Murri language groups in Queensland.

Location

Kabi Kabi Country is currently located between Pumicestone Road, near Caboolture in the south, through to Childers in the north. The northern right hand corner is recognized as being Butchulla Country. This area is recognised under native title as being Kabi Kabi Country.

Quadrosilan (INN, BAN) (trade name Cisobitan; former developmental code name KABI-1774) is a synthetic, non-steroidal estrogen that was developed in the 1970s and that is or has been used as an antigonadotropic agent in the treatment of prostate cancer. It is an organosilicon compound, and is also known as 2,6-cisdiphenylhexamethylcyclotetrasiloxane. Quadrosilan has estrogenic activity equivalent to that of estradiol, and can produce feminization and gynecomastia as side effects in male patients.

John the Baptist (Ancient Greek: Ἰωάννης ὁ βαπτιστής, Ioannēs ho baptistēs or Ἰωάννης ὁ βαπτίζων, Ioannēs ho baptizōn, known as the prophet Yahya in the Qur'an ) was a Jewish itinerant preacher in the early first century AD and is revered as a major religious figure along with Christianity, also in Islam, the Bahá'í Faith, and Mandaeism. He is called a prophet by all of these traditions, and honoured as a saint in many Christian traditions.

John used baptism as the central sacrament of his messianic movement. Most scholars agree that John baptized Jesus. Scholars generally believe Jesus was a follower or disciple of John and several New Testament accounts report that some of Jesus' early followers had previously been followers of John.
