"Written in the Stars" is a song by English rapper Tinie Tempah, featuring American singer Eric Turner. Unlike his two prior breakthrough singles which were produced by Labrinth, the track instead features production by iSHi. It was released in September 2010 through Parlophone records, digitally on the iTunes Store. It serves as the third official single from his debut album Disc-Overy. The song debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Tinie Tempah's second number-one single in the United Kingdom. The song was released as Tempah's debut U.S. single, and has peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track also marks Tinie's first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Pop Chart.

"Written in the Stars" was used by Major League Baseball for their commercials relating to the 2011 Major League Baseball Postseason. It was also chosen by WWE as its theme song for WrestleMania XXVII. Recently, it was used as the introduction to the eighth season of the South Asian Softball League. Since the 2011-12 season, it has been used as the theme song for Sky Sports' coverage of Premier League football. Samples of "Written in the Stars" can be heard in promos used for the USA Network sports-drama Necessary Roughness. The song was chosen as Miss USA 2011 Evening Gown Competition's background music. The New York Giants used the song as their entrance song in Super Bowl XLVI on 5 February 2012. It was also used in the closing ceremonies of the London Olympic Games in August 2012.

"Written in the Stars" is a single released in 1999 by Elton John and LeAnn Rimes. In the US, it was certified Gold on 27 April 1999 by the RIAA.

This song came from the musical Aida written by Elton John and Tim Rice. In this scene in the musical, Radames informs Aida that he's calling off the wedding. Aida knows that this would ruin her father's escape and tells him he must go through with it. Radames agrees, on condition that she escapes to freedom on a boat he will provide. The two lovers lament the complication of the circumstances of their love together before parting.

For John, "Written In The Stars" was his 57th -- and to date, final -- top 40 single on the US Billboard charts as a performer. John posted at least one top 40 single on the US charts every year from 1970 to 1999, with this song being the last in the run.

Due to Rimes' previous country music success, made #74 on Canada's RPM country chart due to unsolicited airplay as an album cut.

Write-in candidate

A write-in candidate is a candidate in an election whose name does not appear on the ballot, but for whom voters may vote nonetheless by writing in the person's name. The system is almost totally confined to elections in the United States. Some U.S. states and local jurisdictions allow a voter to affix a sticker with a write-in candidate's name on it to the ballot in lieu of actually writing in the candidate's name. Write-in candidacies are sometimes a result of a candidate being legally or procedurally ineligible to run under his or her own name or party; Write-in candidacies may be permitted where term limits bar an incumbent candidate from being officially nominated for, or being listed on the ballot for, re-election. Plot

As the day begins, Suzuki St. Pierre reports on Calvin Hartley's involvement with Meade Publications, and the TV screen flashes over to Betty eating a donut...which Justin notices after he sees Betty with one at home. As she kisses Matt, who wishes her good luck on a possible promotion, Hilda stumbles onto a letter addressed to Elena.

At work Betty and Marc are shocked that Wilhelmina and Daniel have told both of them that Calvin has initiated a hiring freeze and that they will have to wait until someone leaves. Hours later at YETI, Jodi informs the students about their final project, in which Jodi explains that whoever comes up with the best assignment will get a major job offer for the three participants. Jodi pairs Betty, Marc and Matt together, but Matt's slacking off could jeopardize everything they've worked for. This becomes very noticeable when Matt shows up late for the assignment, and it's not sitting well with Marc as he tells Betty about his behavior as if Matt doesn't care about the project.

The Stars is a Japanese psychedelic rock band. It consists of ex-members of the band White Heaven including Michio Kurihara (Ghost, collaborations with Boris, Ai Aso) on guitar, You Ishihara on vocals and Chiyo Kamekawa on bass.
