Wrap, WRAP or Wrapped may refer to:
"Wrapped" is a song written by Bruce Robison. First recorded on his 1998 album Wrapped, then by Kelly Willis on her 1998 album What I Deserve, it was later covered by American country-music artist George Strait on his 2006 album It Just Comes Natural. It was released on March 19, 2007 as the album's third single; Strait's version of the song was a Top 5 country hit, reaching number 2 on the Billboard country charts.
"Wrapped" is a mid-tempo where the narrator explains his inability to stop thinking about a lover who has left.
This is the second single of George Strait's career that was written and originally recorded by Bruce Robison. The first such single was Robison's "Desperately", also a cut from his album Wrapped, that Strait covered on his 2003 album Honkytonkville.
Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic cited the song as a standout track on It Just Comes Natural, saying that the song was "laid-back" and that Strait's backing band sounded "natural" on the track.
Wrapped is an alternative lifestyle magazine from Africa that caters for the entire LGBT community and is not gender-dominated.
Wrapped was launched in 2004. Ladies And Ladders purchased the magazine early in 2006. Marie Gregory, owner and publisher originally form the UK, employed Albert Lotter, as Editor and with complete control over the magazine's direction and editorial drive.
During this period, Wrapped acquired a finalist position in the 2006 Nedbank Art's and Culture Trust Awards, for its contribution to culture in South Africa.
The magazine has been actively involved in various awareness projects, as well as charity campaigns. With the annual Sisters With Blisters walk (money donated for abused women and children) the magazine took part in walking three kilometres in high heels. Even sporty and muscular Albert "Al" Lotter participated in a pair of green-turquoise stiletto heels. When interviewed as to why he took part, he said "It's abusing yourself for women and kids who suffer, except this is self-inflicted. I will probably have blisters on my blisters after this."
I keep every tear like an ocean
For every day that my fortune
Kept me from being with you
I cradle your faith that reveals me
Grows like a flower than heals me
Fills me with promise anew
I carry your worn disillusion
When my pathetic confusion
Kept me from speaking the truth
I'm simply a coin in your fountain
Lost like the seconds I'm counting
Till I am closer to you
(Chorus A)
I cherish every morning that found us
With the night scattered around us
Faded and painting me blue
I carry your joy in my footsteps
Making my way to your harbor
Don't need to go any farther
You are my sun and my moon
(Chorus B)
Wrapped in your arms where it's peaceful
Back in your arms where I'm happy
I would do anything gladly
Only to see you again
(Chorus C)
Wrapped in your arms I can wander
Out to the heavens above me
Hearing you say that you love me
Back in your arms where I'm free
I keep ever phrase barely spoken
That from your lips may have broken free
As you give me your love
My yearning is constant and steady
When I'm with you I'm already
Everything I can become
(Repeat chorus A,B & C)
