Work Out

Work Out in the Zone (previously known as Work Out) is an American reality television series on Bravo, which premiered on July 19, 2006. The show is centered on fitness trainers and models located in the many cities of California. The first three seasons featured many of the trainers who work for fitness trainer Jackie Warner, and some other aspects of the gym and its clients as well as Warner's other fitness ventures, and private life. The third season of Work Out ended on June 10, 2008, and was subsequently canceled. A fourth season is currently held in production, with eight different trainers cast for the show. Warner, will not return for the fourth season, after the network was not pleased with her interaction with the other trainers. The fourth season, which revamped the show's concept, mainly featured top fitness model and former army ranger Greg Plitt, who was the only cast member to return from the previous season.

Work Out: Seasons 1-3

In 2003, fitness expert Jackie Warner opened Sky Sport and Spa. On July 19, 2006, the Bravo network aired the first episode of Work Out (developed following Jackie's appearance on Jonathan Antin's Bravo reality series Blow Out). The show follows the day-to-day routine of Jackie and shows all of the drama that goes on behind the scenes in keeping a business afloat, while juggling her own personal life, as well as dealing with the personal issues of those who work for her as trainers.

Work Out (song)

"Work Out" is a song by American hip hop recording artist and record producer J. Cole, and released as the lead single from his debut studio album Cole World: The Sideline Story (2011).The song was officially released on June 27, 2011 through Roc Nation and Columbia. Nas voiced his displeasure with the song and inspired Cole to create the song "Let Nas Down" on his Born Sinner . It samples the chorus from "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul, Abdul would later sample "Work Out" for her song "Dream Medley."

Background

J. Cole released "Work Out" on June 15, 2011, in honor of the second anniversary of his highly acclaimed mixtape The Warm Up. The song, produced by Cole himself, samples "The New Workout Plan" by Kanye West and interpolates "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul. The song is featured as a bonus track on Cole World: The Sideline Story.

Music video

The music video, shot in Brooklyn, New York, was directed by Clifton Bell. The video depicts J. Cole playing basketball, when a girl (Bernice Burgos) catches his eye and he begins to try to win her over. At the end, it went reversed.

Rebecca Cardon

Rebecca Lynn Cardon (born June 10, 1975) is a film and television actress, personal trainer, and product spokesperson. She has appeared on several reality-TV shows — and in 2013 she self-published the book Breakups Blow! A Guided Workbook to Help You Break Free.

Early life

Cardon grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. and began acting at age five in television commercials. Cardon set a national bench press record at age 17 for her weight class of 105 pounds and age category of 17- to 19-year-olds when she lifted 135 pounds. After graduating from Norfolk Academy, she attended George Mason University, receiving a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in theater.

Career

Cardon received second billing for a role in Nice Pants, a 2001 twelve-minute short film directed by Michael Ansbach. In 2004-05 she was a contestant on the sixth season of the CBS television series The Amazing Race, finishing in 3rd place with her then boyfriend Adam Malis.TV Guide reported that Cardon and Mallis were favored to win, but that frequent arguments between the two "seemed to hold them back throughout the contest." Also in 2005 she appeared on one episode of the E! reality series Kill Reality, a series that followed filming of the film The Scorned, with its cast of former reality show participants.

Jackie Warner

Jackie Warner (born August 17, 1968 in Fairborn, Ohio) is an American fitness trainer best known for her participation in Work Out, a Bravo TV reality show. She owns Sky Sport and Spa, a gym and spa in Beverly Hills, California.

Professional life

Warner moved to California at the age of 18. She has worked as a model, actor, and a script coordinator for Warner Brothers, eventually writing and selling her own script. Warner is currently a professional personal trainer.

Athletic from an early age, Warner played inter-collegiate soccer and softball, and has been a lifelong equestrian competitor.

Personal life

Warner is a lesbian and her show chronicled her relationships with four different women. After her last relationship with her girlfriend Brianna deteriorated, Warner stated on the show that she would no longer be dating women so much significantly younger than herself. On her show, she is depicted as regularly seeing a therapist to discuss relationships and other problems. In an earlier season of her show, Warner made a pilgrimage to her hometown in Ohio and visited her father's grave. She revealed on the show that her father had suffered from mental illness and had committed suicide years earlier.

Jackie Warner (baseball)

John Joseph "Jackie" Warner (born August 1, 1943 in Monrovia, California) is former Major League Baseball player. Warner played for the California Angels in the 1966 season as a Right Fielder. He played in 45 games in his one-year career. Warner had a .211 batting average, with 26 hits in 123 at-bats.

In 1967, Warner was traded to the Kansas City Athletics with Jack Sanford for Roger Repoz, but never played in a game for them.
