WKAQ-FM

WKAQ-FM (104.7 FM, "KQ105 FM") along with it satellite WUKQ-FM (98.7 FM) are a pair of radio stations in Puerto Rico broadcasting a contemporary hit radio format. Licensed to San Juan, Puerto Rico, WKAQ-FM serves the eastern half of the island while WUKQ, licensed to Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, serves the western half. The stations are currently owned by Univision Radio Puerto Rico Inc., a subsidiary of Univision Communications, Inc.

KQ105 FM Radio is best known for its concerts "KQusticos", popular hit music playlists, and for its great variety of music including all genres of pop, ballads, few salsa and merengue, and even reggaeton. It's also characterized for having less commercials per hour than any other local station with a programming based only on music 24 hours, 7 days a week, except Saturdays (Sundays repeated) were there is a live Top 20 Countdown involving interviews to artists, presenting the top 20 best music of the week, and local/international news on artists such as gossips.

WKAQ (AM)

WKAQ is a radio station in San Juan, Puerto Rico that broadcasts on 580 kHz with a Spanish language talk radio format. The station is currently owned by Univision Radio. Its programming is repeated on WUKQ, which broadcasts on 1420 kHz in Ponce, and WYEL which broadcasts on 600 kHz in Mayagüez. The station was the first radio station to broadcast in Puerto Rico.

WKAQ was owned for many years by Angel Ramos, owner of the El Mundo newspaper, and eventual namesake for WKAQ-TV, branded as Telemundo. The El Mundo operated until 1986 when labor strikes and acts of terrorism ended its operation.
