Reddit (/ˈrɛdɪt/) is an entertainment, social news networking service, and news website where registered community members can submit content, such as text posts or direct links, making it essentially an online bulletin board system. Registered users can then vote submissions up or down to organize the posts and determine their position on the site's pages. Content entries are organized by areas of interest called "subreddits". The subreddit topics include news, gaming, movies, music, books, fitness, food, and photosharing, among many others. As of 2015, the website had 542 million monthly visitors (234 million unique users), ranking 14th most visited web-site in US and 36th in the world. Across 2015, Reddit saw 82.54 billion pageviews, 73.15 million submissions, 725.85 million comments, and 6.89 billion upvotes from its users.
Reddit was founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in 2005. Condé Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. Reddit became a direct subsidiary of Condé Nast's parent company, Advance Publications, in September 2011. As of August 2012, Reddit operates as an independent entity, although Advance is still its largest shareholder. Reddit is based in San Francisco, California. In October 2014 Reddit raised $50 million in a funding round led by Sam Altman and including investors Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Snoop Dogg and Jared Leto. Their investment saw the company valued at $500 million.
Winger, in the game of ice hockey, is a forward position of a player whose primary zone of play on the ice is along the outer playing area. They typically work by flanking the centre forward. Originally the name was given to forward players who went up and down the sides of the rink. Nowadays, there are different types of wingers in the game — out-and-out goal scorers, checkers who disrupt the opponents, and forwards who work along the boards and in the corners. They tend to be bigger than centreman and smaller than defenceman.
This position is commonly referred to by the side of the rink that the winger normally takes, i.e. "left wing" or "right wing."
The wingers' responsibilities in the defensive zone include the following:

Winger (2013) is a young adult fiction novel written by American author Andrew Smith. Set in the prestigious boarding school, Pine Mountain, Oregon, the story follows fourteen-year-old Ryan Dean West as he recounts past events that he has experienced in his journey of maturation. Winger is Andrew Smith's sixth young adult novel, and has garnered mostly favorable reviews.
The narrator, Ryan Dean West is a fourteen-year-old junior at a boarding school for rich kids. He reveals that "Ryan Dean" is in fact his first name and that his intelligence has led him to skip ahead two grades. He lives at Opportunity Hall, the dorm for troublemakers. He is assigned a room in O-Hall with Chas Becker, a senior whom Ryan Dean despises. After being invited to play a poker game by Chas, Ryan Dean's former roommates JP, and Seanie warn him about the consequence, a typically humiliating dare given to the losing player.
When playing poker that midnight, Ryan Dean is forced by Chas to drink beer, his first ever alcoholic beverage. Finding out about him getting drunk in school, Annie becomes upset with Ryan Dean. He apologizes to Annie and she accepts it saying that it's typical for boys to act stupid temporarily and plan to talk at Stonehenge, a circle of stones in a clearing of the forest with which Annie believes you can make a wish whenever going in. When walking back out of the path of Stonehenge, Ryan reveals his wish through a Venn diagram to have her realize that although he is fourteen, he is just as good for her as any other one of the boys at PM and she regretfully reveals her wish was for his wish to come true. He feels as though this may have ruined their friendship.
In the Heart of the Young is the second album by American rock band Winger. It was released by Atlantic Records in 1990.
Musically, In the Heart of the Young followed closely in the footsteps of the band's debut album. Beau Hill produced the album. There are, however, also some notable changes from the debut.
The album was certified platinum and produced such hits as "Can't Get Enuff", "Easy Come Easy Go" and "Miles Away", the latter of which made the Top 20 at Billboard's single chart. According to Kip Winger, "Can't Get Enuff" and "Easy Come Easy Go" were late additions to the track listing, written because it was felt there were not enough rock songs on the album. The album itself peaked at #15 at the album chart.
Winger followed the release of the album with a 13-month world tour, playing with Kiss, Scorpions, ZZ Top, Extreme and Slaughter.
A collection of music videos with the same title was released the following year in two separate VHS volumes.
There's a shadow in your heart
keeps you in the dark
you're staring out the window all alone
You keep yourself apart
from everything you long for
could you walk away from everything you've known
And don't look back
right or wrong, it's your release so
don't give up
find the love to finally find your way out
of the life that let you
life that let you down
would you dare to open your heart?
would you dare to come out of the dark?
who'll be there to catch your fall?
someone there to see it all
if you dare then I'll be there
You see the sun go down
The emptiness surrounds you
you only know the war inside your head
You barely hear a sound
in all the world around you
you only hear the echo of regret
And don't be afraid
right or wrong, you'll always have your
right to change
find the strength to finally find your
Way out of the loneliness
loneliness inside you
would you dare to open your heart?
would you dare to come out of the dark?
who'll be there to catch your fall?
someone there to see it all
who'll be there to honor your life
if you dare then I'll be there
would you dare to open your heart?
would you dare to come out of the dark?
who'll be there to catch your fall?
someone there to see it all
who'll be there to honor your life
if you dare then I'll be there
if you dare then I'll be there
