Windrider (alternatively worded as Wind Rider and also known as Making Waves) is a 1986 Australian romantic comedy film directed by Vincent Monton and starring Tom Burlinson. Filmed in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, it features Nicole Kidman in her first 'adult' role and includes a few nude scenes.
Stewart 'P.C.' Simpson (Burlinson) lives in a magnificent beachfront home, and is an enthusiastic windsurfer, indulging his passion for windsurfing on a daily basis. His wealthy father, (Tingwell) may fault his inconsistency in working within his father's company, but can appreciate his son's remarkable abilities on the waves. With the help of his father's company's engineer Howard (Chilvers), he develops a high tech sailboard for the coming world windsurfing championship. Jade (Kidman) is a rock singer, who starts a romance with P.C., but as their romance blooms, sport, friends and the upcoming championship become secondary.
The Windrider walkalong glider is a commercially available toy airplane designed to be flown by controllable slope soaring. The design was first invented, manufactured and sold by Tyler MacCReady, son of Paul MacCready. The same design appeared as the Air Surfer from WowWee for a brief period before being produced by the current manufacturer, Windrider Ltd. of Hong Kong. The Windrider is a flying wing design type of fixed-wing aircraft.
The WindRider 10 (also WindRider Tango) is a trimaran sailboat manufactured by WindRider LLC, designed by Mark Balogh and WindRider LLC and introduced in 2002.
The design features an adjustable seat and a kick-up aluminium rudder. It described as "basically a ten foot sit-on-top kayak with alot [sic] of extra buoyancy".

Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed, usually credited as Kamal, is an Indian film director, writer and producer who mainly works in Malayalam cinema.
He was born on November 28, 1957 in Mathilakam, Kodungallur in Thrissur district of Kerala state. He started his career after his studies from Christ College Irinjalakuda and Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur.
Kamal is married to Saburabi. They have two children, Jenuse Mohamed and Hanna Mohamed. Jenuse made his debut as film director in 2015 with the Malayalam film 100 Days of Love.
He started his career by writing the film Thraasa, directed by Padiyan in 1981. He also worked as an associate director in the film.
His first film was Mizhineer Pookkal in 1986 and to date, he has directed more than 43 movies, among which include two non-Malayalam movies, one each in Tamil and Hindi. Apart from his role as a director, Kamal has held several administrative posts within the Malayalm film industry. He had previously acted as the general secretary of Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA) and has been an executive member of the Kerala Chalachitra Academy. He is currently the President of the Kerala Director’s Union (FEFKA).
Kamal is a port, on Madura Island in Indonesia. It is a ferry port, and connects with Surabaya's harbour of Tanjung Perak.
