Boyz II Men is an American R&B vocal group, best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. Formerly a quartet featuring Michael McCary, they are currently a trio composed of baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman. During the 1990s, Boyz II Men found fame on Motown Records as a quartet. McCary left the group in 2003 due to health issues.
During the 1990s, Boyz II Men gained international success. This began with the release of the number one single "End of the Road" in 1992, which reached the top of charts worldwide. "End of the Road" would set a new record for longevity, staying at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for thirteen weeks, breaking the decades-old record held by Elvis Presley. Boyz II Men proceeded to break this record with the subsequent releases of "I'll Make Love to You" and "One Sweet Day" (with Mariah Carey), which, at fourteen and sixteen weeks respectively, each set new records for the total number of weeks at number one. "I'll Make Love to You" also topped the charts in Australia (for four weeks) and garnered international success. As of 2015, "One Sweet Day" still holds the all-time record with sixteen weeks at the top of the Hot 100.
"Will You Be There" is a song by Michael Jackson which was released in 1993. The song is the eighth single from the 1991 album Dangerous. The song also appeared on the soundtrack to the film Free Willy, of which it is the main theme.
The song was one of the biggest hits from Dangerous, staying in the top 40 for over six weeks in the UK. The single achieved even greater success in the U.S., where it sold 500,000 copies and stayed in the top ten for six weeks, peaking at number seven and earning a gold certification.
The song is written in the key of D Major. Jackson's vocal spans from D3 to Eb5. It has a tempo of 83 beats per minute. Michael wrote and produced Will You Be There – with co-producing credits going to Bruce Swedien – and orchestrated the rhythm and vocal arrangements. Featured instruments are noted as piano, synthesizer, keyboard, drums, and percussion. In 2002 he told an ITV documentary it was written at his Neverland ranch, in what he calls his Giving Tree: "I've written so many of my songs in this tree. I wrote... Will You Be There..." (Living with Michael Jackson, aired Feb 2003).
"Will You Be There" is a 1989 single by the German synthpop band Celebrate the Nun, from their 1990 debut album Meanwhile. It was the group's biggest hit, peaking at # 5 on the Billboard Dance Play Charts on the week of June 23, 1990.
The title was recorded and mixed in different versions in the summer of 1989 by Achim Völker (executive producer) and Peter Siedlaczek (chief sound engineer) on behalf of the record label Westside Music, in the ArtLab studios in Frankfurt am Main. Even before the release of the album Meanwhile (1990), the maxi-CD was released in the fall of 1989 in several versions and formats (mini-CD). The materials used for the CD cover photos were taken by Michael W. Frank, with the design of Jürgen Höber.
Like the video for "Ordinary Town", the music video for this song is a simple performance by the band in a multi-coloured room.

"Will You Be There (In the Morning)" is a song first recorded by American rock band Heart. It was released as the first single from the band's eleventh studio album Desire Walks On and was the only Top 40 single from the album.
"Will You Be There (In the Morning)" was written by veteran songwriter and producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, who was responsible for writing Heart's U.S. number-two single "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You" in 1990. The song was not as successful as Heart's previous collaboration with Lange, as "Will You Be There" peaked at number thirty-nine on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It is the last song by Heart to enter the U.S. Top 40 singles chart to date. Together with "You're The Voice" it is Heart's only song to perform better in the UK than the U.S., rising to number nineteen in the UK Singles Chart.
"Will You Be There" was a sizeable Adult Contemporary (#15) and Mainstream Rock Tracks (#10) success.
The song was covered by the country band BlackHawk in 1997 on their Love & Gravity album.
Will you be there when the fire turns outer ?
(Baby,baby)
Will you be there when the fire turns outer
'cause it is more than a flame of a night
will you be there when the sun has gone down for gold
will you take care that it's alright?
My friends and I were in a party move
'cause we were sick of all the toilet tunes
I saw you first down in favourite club
boy you were drinking shown you what i've got
and you love me till i cry-y-y
Will you be there when the fire turns outer
'cause it is more than a flame of a night
will you be there when the sun has gone down for gold
will you take care that it's alright?
I'm so afraid that you will leave again
my soul was searching for a sunshine man
i won my stand most what i had in mind
now my emotions give me different signs
will you hold me when i cry-y-y?
Will you be there when the fire turns outer
'cause it is more than a flame of a night
will you be there when the sun has gone down for gold
will you take care that it's alright?
