Wild Things

Wild Things is a 1998 American erotic thriller film directed by John McNaughton, and stars Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell, Kevin Bacon, Denise Richards and Theresa Russell.

An "uncut" version, adding seven minutes to its runtime, was released on DVD in 2004 and includes a change to Kelly and Suzie's relationship. The film gained notoriety for featuring several sex scenes – in particular, one involving a man and two women simultaneously – that were more explicit than is typically seen in mainstream, big-budget Hollywood releases. It spawned several direct-to-DVD sequels that were released in 2004, 2005 and 2010.

The film has a MPAA rating of R for "strong sexuality, nudity, language and violence".

Plot

A Miami area high school guidance counselor, Sam Lombardo (Dillon), is accused of rape by two female students, the wealthy and popular Kelly Van Ryan (Richards) and poor outcast Suzie Toller (Campbell), and hires lawyer Kenneth Bowden (Bill Murray) to defend him. At trial, Suzie admits that she and Kelly had made everything up to get revenge on Lombardo: Suzie for him failing to bail her out of jail on a minor drug charge and Kelly for him having an affair with her mother, Sandra. Kelly's mother is humiliated by the scandal, and Lombardo and Bowden negotiate an $8.5 million settlement for defamation. In reality, however, Lombardo and the two girls were accomplices who used the trial as a way to get money from Kelly's wealthy family. To celebrate their success, the three of them have sex.

Wild Things (TV series)

Wild Things is an eight episode reality television series which features three transgender women on a fundraising road-trip to earn money for a relative with a life-threatening disease. The series stars Maria Roman, Tiara Russell and Cassandra Cass. The three women were first featured together in the documentary film Trantasia which chronicled contestants in the first ever 'World's Most Beautiful Transsexual Pageant'. Wild Things reunites the three transgender women as they visit small towns in the United States and work in traditionally macho jobs to earn cash to assist Maria's brother who is struggling with a critical illness. The series premiered on Canadian television on The Movie Network and Movie Central on March 22, 2010. The series has also been featured on Entertainment Tonight Canada.

Wild Things (game show)

Wild Things is a wildlife-themed game show which is hosted Kate Humble and Jason Byrne. It was commissioned in August 2014 by Sky 1 and first aired on 15 March 2015.

Format

The gameshow features four teams of two people (relatives or couples) completing challenges on a woodland obstacle course in order to win gold coins. However one member of the team must become the wild thing, meaning they must dress as a large woodland animal be at an Owl, Stag, Duck, Badger, Mole, Fox, Rabbit or Squirrel. The team member in the costume is unable to see so the second team member serves as their guide. The four teams compete against each other in order to win a cash prize of £10,000 and escape from The Wild Wood.

The team with the most points complete the final challenge which features the costumed contestant holding onto a suitcase with the prize money inside whilst being guided by their teammate (who is locked in a shed near the gates to get out of the Wild Wood) via a camera attached to the costume to travel to the shed to free their teammate by pressing a red button outside the shed. However, the camera only stays on for thirty seconds and also the other costumed contestants led by their teammates try to stop them. If one of the other contestants catch up and catch the winning contestant before they free their teammate, they win the money instead.
