"Wiggle" is a song by American recording artist Jason Derulo, released as the fourth single from his third U.S. studio album, Talk Dirty (2014) in North America. In Europe, the song was released as the sixth single from his third international album, Tattoos and the first single from the special edition of the album. The song features American rapper Snoop Dogg.

    Background and composition

"Wiggle" was written by Jason Derulo, Eric Frederic, Axident, Jacob Kasher, Sean Douglas, John Ryan, Joe Spargur, and Snoop Dogg. Production for the song was handled by Ricky Reed, Honua Music and Axident. The former previously produced Derulo's worldwide hit single, "Talk Dirty". It was recorded at Serenity West Recording in Los Angeles, Tha Compound in Los Angeles and at Start From Infinity "Joshua Tree Sessions" and mixed by Manny Marroquin.

Producers Ricky Reed, Honua Music and Axident used toy flutes, hand clappers, peanut wrappers, and percussive instruments as sound effects.

Jason Derulo chose to collaborate with Snoop Dogg because he "is the coolest, most swagged-out rapper there is. He's iconic, and I wanted to go for a more iconic look for this one." Derulo approached him while they were at an All-Star game. Once he heard the song, Snoop Dogg sent Derulo a message saying: "This is crazy. I'll get back to you in 48 hours". "That's exactly what happened", Derulo explained.

    History

    Vietnam War

HMR(L)-163, the predecessor of HMM-163, was formed in December 1951. From February to October 1965, the HMM-163 "Ridge Runners" helicopter squadron became famous for its operations in Viet Nam. This was primarily due to a LIFE magazine story that documented the combat death of Marine H-34 pilot 1st Lt James E. Magel and the rescue of wounded and paralyzed 1st Lt Dale Eddy during a strike mission transporting South Vietnamese troops. For most U.S. citizens, this was the first time they were made aware of the extent of America's involvement in Viet Nam.

In April 1959, HMR-769 transitioned to and begun flying the Sikorsky built HSS-1/SH-34G.

    These Boundaries Crossed

    by: Oakhelm

In the morning light something stirred awake
From an overcast dawn a grey doom yawned
Though a world remains as aeons pass on
The will come a day when all will be gone
    One day will humble all
By dusk your world will fall
    Into a womb to recreate
To turn forever and seal your fate
Time has passed for this world to heal
    Nevermore will it repeal
So abandon the path you wander on
For as darkness is born so is our dawn
    A black host came near
    She whispered 'have no fear'
Time has come so on black wings we ride
To the end of all things, to the ancient's kings
Dark masters of light procreate with hammers of might
Stone cities rise from the ground
From a haunting silence their voices resound
Far before your race was sown
This earth belonged to the one with horns
Ruled in fairness, not in pride
No falseness was there to hide
The war reaped a fertile land
A burning hell turned the world to sand
No drop of rain fell from the sky
The leaders cowered beneath their lies
The fell consumed and abandoned hope
With burning hatred slashed their leaders throats
Nothing left but a lingering sorrow
A dead future, no more tomorrow
In this place of pain a great sadness brought the rain
And a lifeless sunset sank and sighed
After an eternity of blasting wind and ice
A parting cloud shot a ray of sun
    Foreshadowing a newborn time
On the wings of destiny cries a memory lost
    Who will remember tomorrow
    These times gone by
