Mini Viva were an English pop duo formed in 2008 by British songwriting and production team Xenomania. They were managed by 19 Entertainment and signed to Geffen and Polydor Records. Consisting of Frankee Connolly and Britt Love, the duo were due to release their debut album in 2010. Despite a successful first single and positive reviews, the group failed to gain further traction and confirmed their split in late 2010. They released three singles and toured in support of acts including The Saturdays and Diversity.

Mini Viva were formed by Xenomania in 2008, when Frankee Connolly and Britt Love attended an audition held by a label called Select Music UK. Xenomania took the duo to their headquarters in Kent, and they spent a year working with the production team before their launch. They were signed to Universal Music Group in May 2009, after performing "Left My Heart in Tokyo" in the office of Universal chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge.[1]
Mini Viva supported The Saturdays on their The Work Tour in 2009.[2] The Guardian featured the duo as the "New Band of the Day" on 17 July 2009.[3] They released their debut single, "Left My Heart in Tokyo", in September 2009. Produced by Xenomania, the song was named "the catchiest single of 2009" by NME magazine.[4] It reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the highest-charting single of the duo's career.[5]
Their second single, "I Wish", was released in December 2009 and peaked at number seventy-three on the UK Singles Chart, spending one week on the chart.[5] Third single "One Touch", released in May 2010, only managed to chart as high as number 124.[6] During this period, they supported dance troupe Diversity on their UK tour.
In a March 2010 webcast, Mini Viva said that their debut album was to be released in late 2010.[7] They have stated that they are inspired by Rihanna and Lady Gaga.[8] Teentoday.co.uk reported in July 2010 that although the duo's future was unclear, they were still signed to Geffen Records.[9] However, in November 2010, Mini Viva confirmed speculation that they were splitting up, explaining that "sometimes things just don't work out the way you would like them to".[10][11]
As of February 2012, both members Britt Love and Frankee Connolly are working on their own solo careers.

"Whatcha Say" is the debut single by American recording artist Jason Derulo and the first single released from his self-titled debut album. It was produced by J.R. Rotem with additional production by German producer Fuego and heavily samples the song "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. "Whatcha Say" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for one week.
Derulo recorded a new French-English version with French Guiana singer Fanny J. A new music video has also been released.
"Whatcha Say" received mixed reviews. Glenn Gamboa of Newsday wrote: "For fans of Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek", the new Jason Derulo single "Whatcha Say" – which liberally samples from the song and even uses Heap's chorus as his own chorus – may be hard to swallow. But Derulo weaves easily in and out of Heap's parts and matches his autotuned vocals to hers pretty well to craft a catchy, if derivative, little number." Upon its November 2009 UK release, noted R&B writer Pete Lewis of 'Blues & Soul' described the single as "Blending pounding beats and Derulo's rich, soulful vocals with an instantly-infectious pop hook sampled from alternative/indie songstress Imogen Heap".
Step up here to me
Am I dumb enough to believe
When somebody says jump on this
Would you follow them on your knees?
Am I wrong or right
To be dancing with you tonight?
Said I'm done with his fantasies
What I got is my sanity
My baby knows what I want
He's gettin' me in my thing
He better take what I got
Or he won't see me again
'Coz there's been too many guys
Just making moves on the floor
My baby's reading my mind
He knows that I'm needing more
I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had to let it go
Nobody know, know, knows
That I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody now can bring it home
(Nobody now can bring it home)
(Nobody now can bring it home)
Seventeen and dumb
Look at me, I know right from wrong
You and me, we got something on
And I don't need to hear that, come, come
Seventeen and dumb
Look at me, I know right from wrong
You and me, we got something on
And I don't need to hear that, come, come
Micky Mouse with the diamonds in the right sack
Give it time, and I'm gonna get you right back
So the signs says, I never ever fight back
I keep it tight cause I know you really like that
Do it right, and you know I'm gonna hype it
For the rhymes and the sickas that you write back
(Write back, write back, write back, write back)
(Write back, write back, write back, write back)
(Write back, write back, write back, write back)
I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody know, know, knows
That I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody now can bring it home
I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody know, know, knows
That I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody now can bring it home
(Nobody now can bring it home)
(Nobody now can bring it home)
Six, six, six, six, six, so tight off the best stress
Didn't really want to keep it for the rest, uh-uh, oh
So I skipped to the next best
Didn't really know that I was gonna end up here
I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody know, know, knows
That I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody now can bring it home
I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody know, know, knows
That I left my heart in Tokyo
Down by the river, don't you know?
I had let it go
Nobody now can bring it home
