The F Word (2013 film)
The F Word (released in some countries as What If) is a 2013 Irish-Canadian romantic comedy film directed by Michael Dowse and written by Elan Mastai, based on TJ Dawe and Michael Rinaldi's play Toothpaste and Cigars. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Megan Park, Adam Driver, Mackenzie Davis and Rafe Spall.
It premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and was a nominee for Best Picture at the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards, and won for Adapted Screenplay.
Plot
Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe) has an odd job and lives with his sister and nephew in Toronto, Ontario. He dropped out of medical school after becoming aware that his girlfriend was having an affair with his Anatomy teacher and decides to not be social for a year. He is coerced by his best friend Allan (Adam Driver) into going to a party where he quickly gets bored and begins to amuse himself by arranging fridge magnets bearing single words into phrases.
While playing he is joined by Allan's cousin Chantry (Zoe Kazan) and the two fall into conversation. At the same time, Allan meets Nicole (Mackenzie Davis) and they begin flirting with each other. Chantry and Wallace leave the party and he walks her home where he finds out that Chantry has a boyfriend. Even so, she gives him her phone number, but he decides against pursuing the idea of going out with her. He soon changes his mind about this when they run into each other in a movie theater, where they had both gone alone, and end up having dinner together.

What If (comics)
What If, sometimes rendered as What If...?, is a series of comic books published by Marvel Comics whose stories explore how the Marvel Universe might have unfolded if key moments in its history hadn't occurred as they did in mainstream continuity. What If comics have been published in eleven series (volumes).
Narrator
The stories of the inaugural series (1977–1984) feature the alien Uatu the Watcher as a narrator. From his base on the moon, Uatu observes both the Earth and alternate realities.
Most What If stories begin with Uatu describing an event in the mainstream Marvel Universe, then introducing a point of divergence in that event and then describing the consequences of the divergence. Uatu was used similarly in the second series (1989–1998) until a point where, in the Fantastic Four comic book, Uatu was punished for destroying another Watcher. This made the use of Uatu improbable so the character was phased out to its last appearance in issue #76. Without a framing device, the stories themselves became the focus.
What If (Colbie Caillat song)
"What If" is a song recorded by American recording artist Colbie Caillat. It was written by Caillat, Rick Nowels and Jason Reeves, and produced by John Shanks. The song was released as a promotional single from the soundtrack of the film Letters to Juliet and later was included on her third studio album All of You.
Background and reception
"What If" was included on the soundtrack of the film Letters to Juliet, on May 14, 2011 as a "brand new track", alongside her other song "You Got Me", which is on her second album Breakthrough. Only, on July 12, 2011, the song was included on her third studio album All of You. Gary Graff wrote for Billboard that "it's hard to not appreciate the smooth craft of the song".
Chart performance
Due to strong digital downloads when the album was released, the song debut at number 47 on the Hot Digital Songs chart and at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100.
