Weekend (Underground Lovers album)
Weekend is the eighth album by Australian indie rock/electronic band Underground Lovers, the band's first after a 12-year hiatus. It followed a reunion for Sydney and Melbourne performances at the 2009 Homebake festival and the release of their 2011 retrospective album, Wonderful Things. A Rubber Records media release said: "This led to sporadic carefully selected shows and the realisation that the band still had something to say."
"The moment we got back together it clicked", lyricist and vocalist Vincent Giarrusso told The Courier-Mail. "We did one rehearsal, we had six or seven song ideas and we went to the studio to record them. The first four songs on the album are from that initial recording and some of those are first takes. The song 'Can For Now', what you are hearing is the first time we played it." The band also reunited with producer Wayne Connolly, producer of their 1997 album Ways T' Burn, to get the guitar sounds they wanted.
Giarrusso said the album was inspired by the energy of director Jean-Luc Godard's 1960s cinema hit Weekend, and Godard's film was used in their video for "Au Pair".

Weekend is the second studio EP of the New Zealand band Young Lyre, released on 25 November 2015.
Background
In the 2011, the band released their first EP, title Night Swimming. After a long period of tour and festivals, the band started to produce their second EP. On 24 May 2014, the band started their crowd funding campaign to help funding their second EP. The campaign of $2,000 meet its goal on 21 February 2015 with the total of $2,135. The EP was officially released on 27 November 2015.
Singles
The first single from the album, was "We Go Faster" released on 10 May 2015. The music video to the video was crowdfunded alongside the album production. Also they received the help to fund the video and the album by a New Zealand project called NZ On Air.

Jumping All Over the World
Jumping All Over the World is the thirteenth studio album by German eurodance group Scooter, released in Germany in 2007. Five singles have been released from it: "The Question Is What Is the Question?", "And No Matches", "Jumping All Over the World", a remix of "I'm Lonely" and a new version of "Jump That Rock!" titled "Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)" recorded with British rock group Status Quo. The album's original artwork features people performing Jumpstyle.
A revised version of the album was released in the UK in 2008, their first album release in that country since The Stadium Techno Experience in 2003. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1, replacing Madonna's album Hard Candy, and is their highest ever charting release there. On 30 May 2008 it was certified Gold by the BPI and on 22 August 2008 it was certified Platinum.
On 3 October 2008 a new version of Jumping All Over the World was released, titled Jumping All Over the World - Whatever You Want.
Lovers (play)
Lovers is a 1967 play written by Northern Irish playwright Brian Friel. Lovers is a play broken into two parts, "Winners" and "Losers."
Winners
The first section of Lovers, titled "Winners" follows the story of two teenaged lovers, Joseph Michael Brennan & Margaret Mary Enright - more commonly known as Joe and Mag respectively - who are expecting a baby. However, the pregnancy occurs out of wedlock which, at the time of Lovers being written, was a major issue. Due to Mag falling pregnant with Joe's baby they are both asked to leave their schools out of disgrace for what they have done. In the play we find out that Joe's mother pleaded with the school to let Joe sit his exams, this is a very important theme as Joe - being the man - is expected to go, find work and provide for his family
The play is set atop hill with the simple premise of Mag and Joe revising for their exams. However, throughout the play they become distracted and talk on different subjects (much to Joe's annoyance) and through this we hear the further back story behind the characters.
Lovers (stock characters)
Lovers are stock characters whose efforts to get together, despite the blocking effect of other characters, constitute the plot of the story.
The lovers are eiron figures, and it has been noted that they often are coloress creatures, sometimes even ingenues next to the blocking figures, the alazons who prevent their love, such as the Senex iratus or the Bad fiancé. The Innamorati of Commedia dell'arte represent this by going unmasked in the midst of the other characters. Often, the lovers are incapable of resolving their own problems. The role of rescuing them is often a tricky slave's place.
When the lovers' problems are at least partly internal to them, they have diverged from the stock characters. Florizel and Perdita in The Winter's Tale are such lovers; Perdita's reluctance to be wooed by a man above her (apparent) birth is a trivial problem beside his father's rage at such a match. But in Much Ado About Nothing, Claudio and Hero's problems arise from Claudio's being gulled, but are not solved until Claudio shakes off the villain's influence, and so he is not the stock character; still less are Benedick and Beatrice these stock characters, where the obstacles to their love are entirely in their characters.

History
"The first great rock 'n' roll gang of the 21st century" (Kerrang!) - has supported acts like Metallica, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Since their first UK tour of January 2002, Minus have been lighting fires across mainland Europe and America. Following the 2003 release and 2004 re-release of Halldor Laxness they spent most of 2003 and 2004 touring Europe, both as a supporting band as well as several of their own Headlining tours, as well as playing the Main Stage at the 2004 Leeds Festival in the UK. The past years has seen them making friends and sharing stages and with the likes of Muse, The Distillers, Amen, Biffy Clyro, Hundred Reasons, Hell Is for Heroes, The Eighties B-Line Matchbox Disaster, and the already mentioned; Metallica, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Minus saw a breakthrough with their second album 'Jesus Christ Bobby' released 2001 on The Sugarcubes' Smekkleysa label. the music was full of white noise and aural extremities. It introduced Minus to the world and was recognized by the likes of NME, Metal Hammer, Terrorizer and Kerrang!, whose 5/5 review frothed that Minus are - " the most important noise band to emerge in years". Their 3rd release: 'Halldor Laxness' - titled in tribute to Iceland's Nobel Prize-winning author (1908–98) - contained a sound with less screaming and heavy instrumentals, and a softer more melodic approach. This album was also well received by the critics.
