Uniregistry

Uniregistry is a Cayman Islands-based domain name registry that administers the generic top-level domains .audio, .auto, .blackfriday, .car, .cars, .christmas, .click, .diet, .flowers, .game, .gift, .guitars, .help, .hiphop, .hiv, .hosting, .juegos, .link, .lol, .mom, .photo, .pics, .property, .sexy, and .tattoo. In February 2012, the related company Uniregistrar Corporation became an ICANN-accredited registrar and launched under the licensed Uniregistry brand name in 2014.

History

Uniregistry Corporation was officially founded in 2012 by Frank Schilling, one of the largest private domain name portfolio owners in the world, and registered in the Cayman Islands. However, the domain Uniregistry.com was registered six years earlier and the company filed an intent to use the name in the Cayman Islands in 2010. Trademark applications for the "Uniregistry" mark and its stylized "U" logo were filed in 2012. That year, Schilling invested $60 million and applied for 54 new top-level domains. Uniregistrar Corporation became an ICANN-accredited registrar in February 2013. In January 2014, Uniregistry Inc. became a subsidiary in Newport Beach, California to house a West Coast service and support team. The registrar began operating under the licensed Uniregistry brand name in 2014. Uniregistry's registry infrastructure was designed by Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) and Uniregistry subsequently purchased its infrastructure in 2013.

Photo (song)

"Photo" is the second single Ryan Cabrera released from his 2005 studio album You Stand Watching. Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas, Cabrera's girlfriend at the time, played his love interest in the song's music video. In the Philippines, the song reached #21.

Photo is a French magazine about photography previously published by Hachette Filipacchi Médias, and currently owned by EPMA.

History and profile

Photo was started by Hachette Filipacchi Médias as a monthly magazine in 1960. It was modeled on the magazine American Photo. The magazine is now published ten times a year. It concentrates on the artistic aspects of photography, rather than technical aspects. The editorial line is tripartite: fashion/nude/glamour, historical images of wars/guillotines/poverty or similar, and selected journalism news photos from around the world. It is read and distributed around the world, and is known featuring naked models, colorful saturated graphic images, and its annual amateur photography contest.

The seventh and final season of Medium, an American television series, began broadcasting September 24, 2010 on CBS. The seventh and final season ended on January 21, 2011. The season premiered to only 6.10 million viewers while the season and series finale got 7.87 million viewers the highest in over a year since 6.12 on January 15, 2010.

Tau (rapper)

Piotr Kowalczyk (born June 25, 1986), better known under his stage name Tau, and formerly as Medium, is a Polish rapper, vocalist, beatboxer and hip-hop producer. In 2008, he released his underground debut album Seans spirytystyczny (Séance) under the name Medium. His next underground album Alternatywne źródło energii (Alternative Energy Source) was released in 2010, which helped Medium to be spotted by Marcin "Tytus" Grabski, CEO of Asfalt Records, who offered him a contract.

On November 22, 2011, Tau released his official debut album (performing as Medium) titled Teoria równoległych wszechświatów (The Theory of Parallel Universes), which, despite slight promotion, sold over eight thousand copies in Poland.

In 2012 Tau announced that he had converted to Christianity. A few months later he released his second album Graal (Holy Grail). The album was highly criticized by many reviewers due to its radical lyrics. In 2013, Medium and producer Galus formed a one-album-group Egzegeza. The album Księga słów (The Book of Words) was released on June 28, 2013 in a limited amount of copies.

Wedding

A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. A number of cultures have adopted the traditional Western custom of the white wedding, in which a bride wears a white wedding dress and veil. This tradition was popularized through the wedding of Queen Victoria. Some say Victoria's choice of a white gown may have simply been a sign of extravagance, but may have also been influenced by the values she held which emphasized sexual purity. Within the modern 'white wedding' tradition, a white dress and veil are unusual choices for a woman's second or subsequent wedding.
