We Can't Dance is the fourteenth studio album by the band Genesis, released on 11 November 1991 through Atlantic (United States) and Virgin (Europe). It was released as a single album on CD and Cassette, and as a double album on vinyl. The album reached No.1 in the UK, where it remained on the charts for 61 weeks. It was the band's final studio album featuring vocalist/drummer Phil Collins, who would eventually leave Genesis in 1996 to focus on his solo work.

We Can't Dance was Genesis' first studio album in five years, following the international success of Invisible Touch in 1986. We Can't Dance reached No.1 in the UK and No.4 in the US, selling several million copies (including 4 million in the US alone). The album also spawned several hit singles, including "No Son of Mine", "Hold on My Heart", "I Can't Dance" and "Jesus He Knows Me", the latter two supported by humorous videos. Two songs were cut from the album, because "there wasn't enough room on the record." These two songs are "On the Shoreline", and "Hearts on Fire". Both songs were released as B-Sides.
Contrary to popular belief, "Since I Lost You" is not about a broken relationship. The lyrics were written by Phil Collins for friend Eric Clapton. On 20 March 1990, Clapton's four-year-old son Connor died after falling from the 53rd-story window of his mother's friend's New York City apartment, landing on the roof of an adjacent four-story building. Collins played it to him before putting it on the album to get his O.K. At the same time Clapton played Collins "Tears in Heaven".
Most of the songs were created/written by improvisation at Genesis' Fisher Lane Farm ("The Farm") studio.
Following the release of the album Genesis spent 13 weeks on the road playing 55 concerts between May and July 1992, with a 15 date UK tour in October/November.[2] The popular worldwide tour sold out arenas and stadiums (where they mostly played on the US leg of the tour). This proved to be Collins' last tour with Genesis until the band reunited in 2007.
During the recording of We Can't Dance a 40 minute documentary called No Admittance was produced and broadcasted on the Disney Channel. It has since been included in the bonus DVD released in 2007.
The album was re-released as a SACD/DVD double disc set (including new 5.1 and Stereo mixes) in October 2007.

Rolling Stone chiefly commented on the album's lyrics. They criticized "Tell Me Why" and "Way of the World" for being soulless and impersonal social commentaries, but regarded most of the songs as outstanding, and summarized "Although We Can't Dance doesn't quite achieve the vulnerable grace of Duke or the exuberance of Abacab, Genesis has nevertheless delivered an elegantly spare – and even adventurous – album."[4]
Allmusic similarly criticized the lyrics of "Tell Me Why" and "Way of the World", calling them "paeans for world understanding that sound miles away from any immediacy." However, they praised the album for returning to a less pop-oriented direction, and especially complimented the grittiness of "No Son of Mine", "Jesus He Knows Me", and "I Can't Dance".[3]
All songs written by Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford.

Before We Can't Dance was released, all songs had working titles. Below is a list of the original song working titles and finalised song titles (in parentheses):
The "We Can't Dance" tour featured shows in large arenas and stadiums throughout North America and Europe. It would be the band's final full-length tour until the 2007 Turn it On Again reunion tour. The tour is captured live on the albums The Way We Walk, Volume One: The Shorts, The Way We Walk, Volume Two: The Longs and the concert video The Way We Walk - Live in Concert.
The set list featured much of the "We Can't Dance" album as well as the "Invisible Touch" and "Genesis" albums. The only material from the 1970s played on a regular basis was featured in a new "Old Medley" of songs which replaced the "Cage" medley of past tours.

Also played on the tour were "Throwing it All Away", "Mama" (during the first few shows in North America) and "The Carpet Crawlers" (one time only in Southampton, England). Both "Way of the World" and "Living Forever" were rehearsed for inclusion in the tour set list but ultimately didn't make it with "Way of the World" being dropped only four days before the first show of the tour.

Podemos (Spanish pronunciation: [poˈðemos], translated in English as "We can") is a left-wing political party in Spain.
The party was founded in March 2014 in the aftermath of the 15-M Movement protests against inequality and corruption by political scientist Pablo Iglesias, who represents the party in the European Parliament. It is a left-wing populist party that seeks to address the problems of inequality, unemployment and economic malaise that followed in the wake of the European debt crisis. Podemos has called for a renegotiation of austerity measures and seeks to curtail the Treaty of Lisbon.
Podemos is the second largest political party in Spain by number of members after the People's Party (PP); it became the third largest party within the first 20 days it allowed membership, with 100,000 signing up in that period, and its membership grew to more than 389,000.
In the 2014 European Parliament elections on 25 May 2014, Podemos received 7.98% of the national vote, with 1,200,000 votes cast, electing five Members of the European Parliament (MEPs). At the elections for the national parliament on December 20, 2015, Podemos received 21% of the vote and became the third largest party in the parliament, with 69 out of 350 seats.
If you take the tears from crying eyes
Will the hurt just disappear
Put a weapon in the hand of a frightened man
Will he show no fear
So we stand and we watch while the city lights go out one by one
Mother Nature sits on the other side with a loaded gun
Why is there blue sky
Why is there red sky
Now's the time to ask the reason
Should the blue sky
Meet the red sky
Should the rules have to change at all
We all know whatever they say
Time is on our side
This world has been here before just going round and round and round
We all agree as far as we can see
It's just the way of the world
That's how it's meant to be
There's right and there's wrong
There's weak and there's strong
It's just the way of the world
And that's how it's meant to be
Take the motion from a spinning wheel and watch it stop
Take the danger out of a naked flame and what have you got
If you take the anger out of a broken heart, you feel no pain
Could you swear if you had that second chance you wouldn't do it again
Why is there blue sky
Why is there red sky
Now's the time to ask the reason
Should the blue sky
Meet the red sky
Should the rules have to change at all
We all know whatever they say
Time is on our side
This world has been here before just going round and round and round
We all agree as far as we can see
It's just the way of the world
That's how it's meant to be
There's right and there's wrong
There's weak and there's strong
It's just the way of the world
And that's how it's meant to be
