Glee (TV series)

Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series that aired on the Fox network in the United States from May 19, 2009, to March 20, 2015. It focuses on the fictitious William McKinley High School glee club, New Directions, which competes on the show choir competition circuit while its disparate members deal with social issues, especially regarding sexuality and race, relationships, and learning to become an effective team. The initial twelve-member cast included club director and Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison), cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), Will's wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig), and eight club members played by Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, and Jenna Ushkowitz. In subsequent seasons, the main cast has expanded to fourteen and fifteen members.

We Are Young

"We Are Young" is a song recorded by American band Fun featuring Janelle Monáe, for their second studio album, Some Nights (2012). It was released on September 20, 2011, as the lead single from Some Nights. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, with many noting the song as a breakthrough for the indie genre and praising the song's catchiness. "We Are Young" has attained commercial success worldwide, reaching number one in several countries.

The track initially only gained attention from online media, although it did receive its first commercial radio airplay on Tampa Bay alternative radio station, 97X, debuting on September 19, 2011. However, it was soon covered by the television show Glee. The song also topped the Hot 100 Airplay chart with 120 million impressions in seven weeks, becoming the first group since Destiny's Child's "Survivor" (2001) to do so. The song was named 99th on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of All-time.

Vassy (singer)

Vasiliki Karagiorgos (born in March 15, 1983 Darwin, Northern Territory) simply known for her stage name Vassy is an Australian singer and songwriter. Vassy, whose parents are both Greek immigrants (from Florina), was discovered in 2003 after winning Australian radio station Triple J's Unearthed talent contest. Her single "We Are Young" reached the top of Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs.

In 2014, she featured on the song "Bad" by David Guetta and Showtek, which has already reached number 1 in many countries. In addition, "Hustlin'", her collaboration featuring Crazibiza and Dave Aude went to number one on the US Dance charts.

In 2015, she won the IDMA Award for Best Featured Vocalist for the single "Bad" by David Guetta & Showtek featuring Vassy's vocals. The song was #1 in Dance / Electronic Songs chart.

Her music style was compared to DEV and Havana Brown.
