Carpe Diem (Belinda Peregrín album)

Carpe Diem is the third studio album from Mexican pop singer Belinda, released on March 23, 2010 through Capitol Latin. The album is primarily electropop music for dancing, a more mature sound than previous albums. The album debuted on the Billboard Top Latin Albums at number 12, number 3 in the Latin pop albums and number 21 on the Top Heatseekers Album. In Mexico, entered at No. 7 and No. 5 in the category in Spanish.

On March 25, two days after its release, Belinda was certified gold by offering an autograph session in Mexico City, more than 30,000 copies sold. The name of the carpe diem album comes from the Latin language, a phrase that literally means "Long live the day" or "Seize the day", coined by the Roman poet Horace, 12, who was adopted by Belinda movie Dead Poets Carpe diem Society.13 unlike his previous album, containing more cheerful, positive, more danceable, 14 fusion of electronic beats songs.

Among the producers is the Mexican Golden Baqueiro, who produced the theme "Sal de mi Piel" in Los Angeles, also was attended by Jimmy Harry, who produced the theme "Égoista", and previously had worked in his old job Utopía. The album also features production by French artist Arno Elias, who produced the theme "Amor Transgénico" as well as the participation of the Spanish Carlos Jean. In addition, the propia Belinda, composed, coordenor credited the image, along with his father, executive producer of the album.

Josh James (singer)

Josh James Dubovie (/dʊˈbvi/; born 27 November 1990) is a British singer. Dubovie is most notable for having represented the UK at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Oslo, Norway, in May 2010, after winning the UK national selection competition with "That Sounds Good to Me", a song by Mike Stock, Pete Waterman and Steve Crosby. He finished last.

Biography

Early life

Dubovie, from Laindon, performed with StageAbility, an after-school stage club from age nine. At age 15 he played Enjolras in a school production of Les Misérables with the Essex Group. For this role he saw a vocal coach as he had no previous experience of singing. He attended The Billericay School and studied for A levels in Music Technology, Drama and English Literature. In 2008 he won the Blues Idol competition, and has also won Voice of St Lukes contest and Billericay's Got Talent. Prior to auditioning for Your Country Needs You, he applied for a part on E4 TV series Skins 3rd series and was short-listed for the role of Freddie Mclair.

Wake Up (Make a Move)

"Wake Up (Make a Move)" is the third single from Start Something, the second album by the Welsh rock band Lostprophets. This single was under much debate up to its release; both Lostprophets and their management wanted the dark, brooding "Make a Move" as a single, whereas the label wanted the poppier, catchier "I Don't Know". The band and their management walked away victorious and the song was released as a single with the modified title "Wake Up (Make a Move)". However, "I Don't Know" was later released for radio airplay in the U.S. and made it to #11 in the Modern Rock Charts.

A music video was produced for the song and saw moderate airplay upon release.

  • Caffeine

Caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant of the methylxanthine class. It is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive drug, but — unlike many other psychoactive substances — it is legal and unregulated in nearly all parts of the world. There are several known mechanisms of action to explain the effects of caffeine. The most prominent is that it reversibly blocks the action of adenosine on its receptor and consequently prevents the onset of drowsiness induced by adenosine. Caffeine also stimulates certain portions of the autonomic nervous system.

Caffeine is a bitter, white crystalline purine, a methylxanthine alkaloid, and is closely related chemically to the adenine and guanine contained in deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA). It is found in the seeds, nuts, or leaves of a number of plants native to South America and East Asia and confers on them several survival and reproductive benefits. The most well known source of caffeine is the coffee bean, a misnomer for the seed of Coffea plants. Beverages containing caffeine are ingested to relieve or prevent drowsiness and to improve performance. To make these drinks, caffeine is extracted by steeping the plant product in water, a process called infusion. Caffeine-containing drinks, such as coffee, tea, and cola, are very popular; in 2005, 90% of North American adults consumed caffeine daily.

    Wake Up (Stereoside album)

"Don't waste what little time you have
    been granted on complaints.
And live your life to the fullest."
    The past trespasses
    When now settles in
    Ephemeral experiences
    Fleeting memories
Sacrificing a part of your life
    Hungry packs of illusions
No one will grieve or shed a tear
    For stolen destinies
    Forsaken
Regrets are your life's bitter legacy
    Carpe Diem
Your life is yours to create
    Carpe Diem
    So leave the past behind
    [Lead: Pier-Luc Lampron]
    [Lead: Daniel Mongrain]
    Hope for a second chance
    Forever haunting you
    Time beyond reclaim
    Wasted in the past
    Living beside your virtual life
    Ad Vitam Aeternam
