The transmitter and broadcast tower are located about ten miles southeast of Henderson. According to the Antenna Structure Registration database, the tower is 293m (961ft) tall with the FM broadcast antenna mounted at the 284m (932ft) level. The calculated Height Above Average Terrain is 311m (1,020ft). The FM antenna array is a FM10/8 manufactured by SWR.
History
The station signed on as WHNC-FM in 1948, later becoming WXNC. The letters changed to WYFL on October 3, 1981.
