World Socialist Web Site
The World Socialist Web Site (WSWS) is a widely accessed international socialist news site and is the online news and information center of the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI). The site publishes articles and analysis covering a wide range of topics and events all around the world. A major portion of the site has been dedicated to the history of working class movements and the ICFI in particular.
The WSWS supports and helps campaign for the Socialist Equality Parties in elections. The site has no corporate sponsorship and runs no advertisements except for material from Mehring Books, the ICFI's publishing arm. Instead, it sustains itself through the donations of readers and supporters. The content is published in 19 different languages. David North serves as Chairman of the site's International Editorial Board.
The American right-wing press has referenced the World Socialist Web Site as an example of left-wing extremism, and Glenn Beck, formerly of Fox News, cited the web site on numerous occasions while on air, calling it an example of "radical Islamists, communists, socialists" all working together.WSWS articles are often collated by the Asian Tribune and AllAfrica.com regional news sites, and its articles are regularly cited in newspapers in Africa, the Middle East and in Asia.
WSWS (FM)
WSWS is a Christian radio station licensed to Smithboro, Illinois, broadcasting on 89.9 MHz FM. WSWS serves the Vandalia, Illinois area and is an affiliate of The Life FM Network.
WSWS airs a variety of Christian Talk and Teaching programs as well as inspirational, praise and worship, and southern gospel music. Programs heard on WSWS include; Grace to You with John MacArthur, Revive our Hearts with Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Thru the Bible with J. Vernon McGee, Lester Roloff, Adrian Rogers, Noah Hutchings, Phil Waldrep, David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, Woodrow Kroll, Family Life with Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine, Kay Arthur, R.C. Sproul, Sid Roth, June Hunt, Charles Stanley, and Focus on the Family.
